I reached out to DiscoverFamily after trying unsuccessfully to find my birth father. My top matches were below the criteria needed to help but they told me they would still have a look if they had spare time. I wasn’t expecting much but to my surprise it did not take them long at all to not only find my birth father, but build out a tree with sources etc on Ancestry. They did a video call with me to explain everything, recorded it for future reference and gave me access to the tree they’d built. I have since confirmed many of the links with other DNA matches and am incredibly grateful and amazed by the DiscoverFamily group. Definitely recommend!

If I could give you ten stars I would. It’s hard to leave what feels like an adequate review that conveys what the Discover Family team really means to me after all they did on my behalf. I will forever consider Troy and Diann angels in my life. They helped me solve my lifelong puzzle of who my birth family is & that’s a debt I’ll never feel like I am able to repay. They did so out of the goodness of their hearts. But what’s even more amazing is that not only did they figure it all out for me they were such amazing and supportive humans along the way. They became family to me. Searching for birth families is full of complicated feelings so having them BE THERE for me throughout the process is truly what sets them apart. I appreciate Discover Family for treating what was a sensitive journey for me with considerate care. They did it faster than I ever thought possible. For anyone searching their biological lineage, Discover Family is the place to go. I was looking for my paternal family for years trying to piece together on a DNA site. It was time consuming and hard to maneuver through. I was skeptical of websites claiming to help. One day I took a chance by contacting Discover Family. It was the best decision I could have made. Mike, Troy, and the others on my case were diligent and very caring in my search. I can never express to them how grateful and appreciative I am of their efforts. Unfortunately my father passed last year, but I now know where I come from and that I have two sisters and a brother. I hope to connect with them at some point and understand the father I never knew. To say thank you seems so small for the volunteer work they do to help. But thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God Bless each and every person who volunteers their time and resources to help myself and others like me. You have no idea what an impact you have had on my life.

I've been searching for my birth father for some time now. With Ancestry's help, I was matched with a first cousin. Despite countless hours examining family trees, I couldn't make progress. I reached out to Discover Family (Search Angels) and, in less than a month, they had answers. They presented their findings via Zoom, providing a name, but little additional information. A brief phone conversation with a cousin suggested my father may have passed away. I'm grateful to Search Angels for this life-changing discovery.

Contacted Discovery Family to find my long lost father. Spoke with Troy through the whole process. Got a DNA Kit from Ancestry in the mail after a few chats and going over the few details I knew. Completed and sent it in. The day my test results came back, Troy contacted me letting me know we found him. Awesome group and very helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this organization and the people within it. I have gone my whole life without knowing my birth father (20 years), and when I was doing research on what I could do to find him, I stumbled across this organization. They do the search for you, and they do it for free. Needless to say, I was very skeptical. However, as soon as they presented me with their findings, all of my skepticism was put to rest. I have now found my birth father and am on the way to pick him up from the airport as I am writing this review. I can’t express how grateful I am for the people that helped me through this journey: Mike, Troy, and Dwight. These three people that I was in contact with from this organization helped me every step of the way and were very comforting and kind. So Mike, Troy, and Dwight, if you’re reading this, thank you so so so much for helping me complete the other half of my tree. You guys really are doing God’s work!!
