My 1998 JVC HR-J747MS Hi-Fi Nicam Multi B.E.S.T. Picture VHS PAL/NTSC player went kaput. Looked online, liked Digital Vintage Classics’ web site, and took it to Dan. He fixed it perfect. He repaired the transport, fixed the broken basket and pinch roller assy, aligned the loading gears and reassembled the tape entry door. I’m so happy I can again digitize my home PAL and NTSC tapes. I recently reached out to Dan over the phone to ask about a couple of symptoms I was noticing, as well as some preventative maintenance tips for my high-end Sansui AU-919 amplifier. From the very beginning, Dan was incredibly approachable and generous with his time. I called to see if they worked on reel to reel tape machines I have a pioneer 707 and was having trouble with the tape running off the machine. I talked to Dan and ask if I could bring it in and have it worked on He said yes he would look at it for me but what was the problem after we talked he was able to diagnose the problem on the phone. It is now up and running thanks so much Dan. Appreciate your knowledge. He could’ve very easily asked me to bring it in so he could make money on me. Dan repaired an NAD 3240PE Integrated Amplifier for me. The unit had one channel that dropped out intermittently. Dan cleaned the pots and found a couple bad solder joints. The unit plays perfectly now. Dan was fair with his prices, prompt, honest and best of all LOCAL! I will trust Dan with all my future repairs, and I highly recommend Digital Vintage Classics.

Dan repaired my 49-year-old Marantz stereo receiver. He gave me a couple of options for one of the unit's problems and reported the other problem could be corrected with a simple cleaning. My 300 disc CD player was "frozen" and Dan assured me he could repair, without even seeing it. I left it with him while we went out of country for a week. On the last day of our trip he called to say it was ready. I had some 15 to 20 disc's stuck. Player is working great! His fee was quite reasonable to the point I'll soon be taking my Pikneer Cassette deck and my TEAC reel to reel to him
