I recommend Summit GI very highly; in fact, I have recommended them to both my mom and a friend and both now go there! I’ve been going there for four years, and WITHOUT FAIL, the nurses have always gotten back to me either the same day or the next day (as their recording states). Whenever a prescription has required a prior authorization, my health insurance has notified me of an approval within about 2-3 hours of when I’ve let the office know that I needed a PA. The nurse practitioners there are excellent; I see one as my main health care practitioner, and I’ve seen another when she was on family leave and both were kind, caring, compassionate, and thorough. They don’t rush you through the appointment for their own purposes, and they make you feel like a person with a disease — not a disease with a medical number attached. This is a top-notch care facility, and I’m from the East Coast where I taught med students, so I’m very picky.
I went here after experiencing some unknown GI issues, including vomiting and severe pain. I thought it was gallbladder. Turns out it was a long stomach bug (I never get them, so I didn't know). Nurse Practitioner Johnna took great care of me. She looked at my ER scans and said I was all good, most likely a stomach bug. I was glad to hear it. Office staff and nursing staff was wonderful as well. I would recommend this place for GI/Stomach issues.
I see Nurse Practioner Jennifer McDaniel and she is always very attentive, and compassionate. She takes the time to listen and tries to help resolve your health issues. I highly recommend her!! The scheduling lady at check out could be more personable and nice is why I gave a 4 start review. Both times she seemed to be irritated and not friendly at all. I really miss Dr Eisenach. All our family has seen him for years!! And Kim his nurse was always friendly and just great!!
