I recently spent two weeks at Diamond Mountain, including four days in silence, and it was a unique experience. Being at Diamond Mountain, you kind of feel removed from the world and its constant busyness. Even getting there, which takes nearly two days, becomes part of the experience. It creates a sense that you are traveling somewhere rare and intentional, a place designed to step away from day-to-day life. What made it even more special was being surrounded by like-minded people. There is something incredibly uplifting about sharing space with others who are also seeking reflection, growth, and stillness. The staff are exceptional - always present, kind, and ready to help. Their care feels almost effortless, as if they are quietly holding the space for everyone to have the best possible experience. And then there is the environment itself: the vast night sky full of stars, the warmth of the days, and the unique desert landscape so different from what I am used to. All of it creates the perfect conditions to gain a new perspective and look at your life and challenges with new eyes. Diamond Mountain Centre is not just a place for the retreat - it is a quiet return to yourself. It’s a place where time begins to move differently or perhaps it fades away altogether… it’s a place where the mind settles, and where something deeper begins to surface. When you leave, the world is the same but you are not. There is no other place like it.

I had a wonderful 5-day retreat at Diamond Mountain, and this was my third time there. I felt the beauty: the sound of silence and the indescribable power of the stillness at Diamond Mountain, helping us return to our own inner stillness. I feel like I've become a new version of myself, and I've gained so much benefit that will likely last for many years to come. I am so grateful to the teachers and the dedicated, passionate, and thoughtful service staff. The sweat and tears of many of the teachers have worked tirelessly to build this place. Our world is a reflection of our minds; when we retreat, we recognize and adjust our world. Retreats will change you and the world around you. And for me, Diamond Mountain might be the best place in the world for a retreat.

I have been to Diamond Mountain several times because there is something very special about the place. I am a meditator and the quiet at Diamond Mountain is unparalleled. When I went for a 5 week retreat, I was well cared for in a way that protected my silence. The cottage I rented was perfectly designed for a deep retreat, and I was very comfortable. The nature is amazing, with deer, bunnies, butterflies, many birds and more coming by to visit. And other animals like foxes were spotted on walks through the mountains. I love Diamond Mountain and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!

I had a wonderful experience at the Diamond Mountain retreat center in Arizona. The environment is very harmonious, peaceful, and well-maintained. Everything is clean and thoughtfully organized, which makes it easy to relax and focus on your practice. The food was excellent — healthy, fresh, and prepared with care. It really supported the overall retreat experience. I would especially like to mention Sunam, the manager, who is very responsible, attentive, and dedicated. The rest of the staff also do an amazing job — they are kind, professional, and always ready to help. Overall, this is a beautiful place for rest, reflection, and inner work. I highly recommend it.
