My colonoscopy experience was excellent from start to finish. Dr Alexander Mantas was professional , reassuring and thorough, and the nursing/ support staff was kind and very attentive. I truly appreciated smoothly everything went. A n added bonus was GI Alliances facility at n. central. A pleasure no to be run through a hospital and very convenient.
The staff was amazing and very prompted getting me in to see Dr. Pattell. Dr. Pattell sat there and talk to me and wasn’t in a rush. Listen to my concerns and console me after I lost my husband a year ago. He was so kind and understanding. He’s been my doctor for over 10 years now and not many doctors. Will call you personally to give you results they usually have their staff take care of it, but he’s always been one that will personally call to talk to Me when he gets test results or to check on me. I highly recommend Dr. Pattell.
Recently had a colonoscopy with Dr Ackerman. The initial visit was very good and colonoscopy was scheduled for later in the month. On the day of the colonoscopy I was scheduled for 9:30 AM and when I checked in it was very easy and fast. Was taken back to a room for vitals and to get an IV inserted for the procedure. Hanna was my nurse and she was very efficient and friendly. She inserted the IV connection via the top of my hand which was painless. I cannot remember my anesthesiologists name but she was a young pretty black girl that was very attentive and made me feel comfortable. She explained her procedure and she took me into the procedure room for the colonoscopy. Dr Ackerman was there and the procedure was performed. I woke up in recovery and was out of the facility about 30 minutes later. The overall experience was not as bad as I thought it would be, with the worst part for me being the fasting for about 36 hours. Not being able to eat was worst than the cleansing phase which was not as bad as I thought it would be. Dr Ackerman and staff are great and if you need this procedure done I highly recommended them!
It’s been great so far. Dr. Shea Does not sugarcoat. He does not tell you what you wanna hear. He tells you facts. I’m waiting on a procedure to get done, but I can tell you, with his years of experience, I am not as nervous. He’s a great doctor, and his practitioner is very straightforward as well.
