These guys have been our go too for airport transfers for our last 3 visits. As always communication was excellent on arrival and our driver was ready and waiting as we exited the terminal. The preordered chilled beers and chips were welcome after a long flight. On return we received a reminder email with pickup time the day prior and our driver was ready and waiting ahead of schedule. Excellent service as always
Absolutely perfect ! We had Destino Riviera do all our airport to resort and resort to airport transfers for 144 guests for my daughter Shailja’s wedding in Cancun in May 2026. They take their work seriously and work with great responsibility. We had no issues at all. They were constantly in touch with guests as soon as they landed, and handled each transport with utmost care.

Everybody we interacted with (Janet, Gabriel, Monica, etc) were very professional and kind. When we first arrived, we felt like it was a luxury experience. We were greeted with a very clean and air conditioned car & champagne to celebrate our upcoming wedding.
On one day, we had over 90 guests arriving. Destino Riviera seamlessly handled different pickups from different terminals and numerous guests reaching out to them directly. They sent us a picture as they picked up each group for our awareness (so cute to see!), but rarely asked us any questions in order to preserve our time on our wedding weekend. Instead, they seamlessly handled delayed flights, guests lost in the airport, missed connections, etc themselves and moved guests around transport groups as needed to get everybody to the resort as quickly as possible. All our guests said they had wonderful service & organization! We are so glad we chose Destino Riviera!

Top Notch!
We booked with Destino Riveria for our airport transfers as well as for two separate tours. I will combine all three in one review. This is detailed and long lol! TLDR: we will 100% book with Destino Riveria every time we visit this part of Mexico First of all: the communication from Jamie is second to none! He supplies very detailed instructions including pictures of meeting points well ahead of time. He sends reminder emails the day before tours, he follows up the day after (all via email). I seriously wish I was half as organized as he is! I have never experienced customer service like this before while travelling. The airport pick up could not have been handled any better. We unfortunately got stuck in an hour+ long passport control line up (I believe there were 4-5 flights that came in all at once and we were of course in the slowest moving line). Jamie was in constant communication via WhatsApp and both he and our driver were so kind about the longer than anticipated wait. Our pre-purchased drinks were ice cold and much appreciated! We booked the Tulum, Cenote and Turtle Snorkelling tour, this was a very fun day. We were glad the tour started with the ruins in the morning as it is very hot and humid this time of year. The guide at the site was excellent! We treated ourselves to the coconut ice cream at “Andrea’s” after our tour. Two large cups were 100 MXN each, it was well worth it! The cenote we visited was a cave style and was stunning! This was a great refreshing stop after the heat of Tulum. It is very dark in the cenote. This might be a miss for those afraid of the dark/claustrophobic, but we loved it. There was a tasty included buffet lunch served nearby (enchiladas, beans and rice). There was also a small booth with crafts for purchase near the buffet. The young people staffing the booth were great, no pressure to buy. The snorkelling was great as well! Due to the timing of our visit the water did have some seaweed and was slightly murky, but we were able to clearly see 5 turtles, a stingray and many small tropical fish, seeing the turtles in their habitat was magical. Our guide was knowledgeable and was happy to share the “why” behind the rules at Akumal Bay and how they are working to protect this area for the marine life there. I would do this tour without hesitation again. We also did the Isla Contoy/Isla Mujeres tour. We first stopped for a 30 minute snorkel session in beautiful clear waters, many different fish were seen. We are not experienced snorkelers at all and now we can’t wait to go again. Isla Mujeres was admittedly not our favourite activity, but this is only our opinion- NOT anyone’s fault. The day we visited it was very loud and chaotic in the town, but the beach is truly beautiful and quite quiet, so we spent our hour of free time there, easy peasy!! If you enjoy a lively market atmosphere you will enjoy the town, we just found it overwhelming (hello, sensory overload haha!). The bird sanctuary and beach on Isla Contoy are really something special and our main reason for booking this tour; here we had a tour of part of the island, a lagoon nesting area as well as the small museum. We were served a simple buffet lunch that hit the spot (rice, beans, nacho chips, a variety of macaroni dishes and I think grilled fish) ! The group then had two hours of free time on the completely unspoiled beaches of the island. The crew of the boat were amazing. Be advised, there is a lot of time spent on the boat (which was very clear at booking!!), if you know you get seasick I would pack meds and stick to the lower level of the boat. We plan to do this tour again in the future! This was a 13+ hour day, just something to be aware of (this was also very clear in the booking process). Gold star service! From the detailed meeting spot directions (with photos!!) as well as the communication once we landed. Both Jamie and our driver were so patient and kind when we ended up stuck in an hour long passport control line up (our flight was also about 20 minutes late) this was so appreciated as our travel day was at about 14 hours by that point.
I highly recommend Destino Riveria for airport transfers, on top of the amazing service they offered the best pricing I could find to Riveria Maya!

The tour itself was well organized, we loved the ruins guide Nico, the senote was amazing. Lunch was delicious and visiting the village felt very special. But special shout out to Jaime, I accidentally left my shoes on a van when we switched vehicles at the Senote and after a brief email exchange, my shoes arrived at my hotel the following morning. We travelled with 2 kids, 9 and 11 and they had a great time as well.

We did the cenote buggy tour on April 6th, 2026. Mateo and Abraham were great guides! We had a good time and learned a lot and were excited to help donate to the Mayan village!

Very dissatisfied heard many good things was recommended in a Bahia Principe group created by Destino Riviera! Driver was late, water was supposed to be supplied for everyone in our group of nine people only four water on board voiced my opinion to Destino Riviera, to no avail! Was told driver was on site we were at our gate and waiting to be picked up, he was not there! He pulled up late. Do not recommend!
Very good and professional service. The minibus they gave us was clean and had car seats. They picked us up from the lobby of our resort. The drive to the airport was smooth without any issues and without any stops. The only thing is make sure to book at least 48h in advance since their offices close early.

Amazing service, very professional. Included the toddler carseat. I booked the transfer from my resort to the airport. We got there fast without any stops and any issues. They provided us with nice clean minibus. I couldn't book the transfer from the airport to the resort though because of the time difference so their offices closed earlier than I could make a payment. So keep in mind to book it at least 48h in advance.
I’ve used Destino Riviera for airport transfers and trip to Chichen Itza. They are an excellent company to work with. You can have real time “What’s App” conversations with them if needed. Courteous, safe and on time drivers. I highly recommend this company!
Great company
We used Destino Riviera for this trip. They were recommended to us. They were at the airport with my name on a card right when we got out of the airport. Took us right to our destination in a nice air conditioned van. They kept in contact with me when we were ready to leave and that was an easy process as well. I highly recommend them.
