I had such a great experience with Dr. Derek Tang. He was able to see me last minute on Wednesday because I was having pain from my wisdom tooth, and then went out of his way to make room in his schedule to extract it the very next day.
He was incredibly caring, kind, and attentive throughout the whole process. He took the time to make sure I was comfortable, explained everything clearly. I really appreciated how accommodating and compassionate he was, especially on such short notice.

After changing many dentists, I found the office of Dr. Derek Tang based on a referral a friend made. I have been very happy with my visits and procedures so far. The treatment is focused on the patient and the staff especially is super accomodating, kind and helpful with aspects of scheduling, during the visit and with insurance claims. Had a recent issue with a tooth getting knocked loose and infection had set in. I called dr Tangs office and they got me right in. Dr Tang and his staff are very friendly, professional and made the entire process comfortable and nice. I can’t say enough good things about the experience I highly recommend his practice.

This review was due for sometime. I had not been a patient of Dr. Tang until my unfortunate luck in which I broke my inlay just a day before I had to travel. I was referred to Dr. TANG. Thankfully Dr. Tang was nice enough to see me on his day off, Friday, early morning. I walked in and his front office was very nice and attentive. Dr. Tang immediately had xrays taken and accessed the area. My tooth would now need full coverage, a crown. Dr. Tang explained he could not do the crown at that visit, since I had a plane to catch in a couple of hours, but would place a temporary coverage to hold me off during my trip. Upon my return, I was seen by Dr. Tang and he prepared my tooth for a crown and by my surprise, he had created my crown while I waited comfortable in the exam room. Once he cemented it on, he checked for its integrity. Once finished, Dr. TANG advised me to return for a full exam to avoid any further emergencies.
Dr. Tang has extremely calming chair side manners, making it a great dental experience. I've returned for cleanings and his hygienist too was gentle and thorough.
Although, Dr. Tang doesn't participate in my insurance, he's worth the pay because I felt he ensures his dental treatment is full of integrity and provides an excellent experience. Thank you Dr. TANG and team! See you soon for a cleaning!
