I feel a responsibility to share my experience so other patients can make an informed decision before committing to expensive cosmetic dental treatment.
I underwent veneer treatment at Denwest Dental Clinic with Dr. Hamid Tamimi at a cost of approximately $10,000. I paid a substantial down payment and monthly payments of around $750 with the expectation of receiving high-quality, durable veneers.
Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite of what I was promised.
Within the first week, two veneers broke. Over the following months, I returned to the clinic multiple times because veneers were cracking, breaking, or completely falling off. These were not isolated incidents but a recurring problem that continued throughout my treatment.
I was repeatedly told that the laboratory was responsible for the poor quality. However, as a patient, I did not hire the laboratory—I hired and paid the clinic. I trusted the clinic’s judgment regarding materials, quality control, and treatment outcomes.
The repeated failures affected my daily life. I became afraid to eat normally, avoided many foods, and constantly worried about another veneer breaking or falling off. A procedure that was supposed to improve my confidence instead created stress and anxiety.
The final aesthetic result was also disappointing. The veneers appeared larger and bulkier than expected, and the colour lost much of its brightness far sooner than I was led to believe.
Another major concern involved paperwork I was asked to sign regarding cancellation of the remaining balance owed to the laboratory due to quality issues. The document was presented as a solution, but I later discovered it effectively eliminated future replacements under the previous arrangement, leaving me responsible for additional costs despite the ongoing problems never being properly resolved.
Because my natural teeth had already been permanently prepared for veneers, I no longer had the option of simply walking away from the treatment. I felt trapped between living with restorations I could not trust or paying even more money to fix a problem that should never have existed.
My final visit was especially disappointing. While discussing my concerns, Dr. Tamimi made comments in front of a staff member about how many times I had returned with broken veneers. Instead of feeling supported as a patient experiencing repeated treatment failures, I felt embarrassed, blamed, and dismissed. When I attempted to explain my concerns, I felt that my perspective was not being heard.
Today, approximately a year and a half later, I am still dealing with the consequences. Multiple veneers fractured or detached, the appearance changed significantly over time, and I ultimately lost confidence in both the restorations and the treatment process.
My purpose in writing this review is not revenge—it is accountability. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this clinic for veneer treatment.
