From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I had chosen the right place for me. The ladies at the front desk where all smiles and very welcoming. Every patient that came through door was treated with professionalism but also like family. Christine has been so helpful and has gone out of her way to make everything very informative and has been such a big help to me. The xray technician was super sweet. Dr. Matalka was so kind, patient and willing to answer any questions I may have and made me feel very comfortable. Everyone from start to finish makes you feel so comfortable and welcome. I am just starting my journey but cant wait to come back here to give updates. I know I am in very good hands!!!!

If I could give 10 stars to this practice I would. What a phenomenal experience! From my first visit, the staff from the front desk to the doctor in the back and everyone in between are so open, friendly and extremely professional. Christine is all kinds of wonderful and stays in touch to make sure I'm ok. I had some very negative dental visits as a young child that colored my opinion of dentists and to be honest every time I have to go to one I get the most overwhelming anxiety...probably some PTSD. Not here. They explained everything and just put me at ease. I'm still in the process of getting my work done so I'll definitely update but I'm sure my 5 stars will hold. I love this place! I knew the minute I walked through the door this would be the place for me. The staff is friendly and always smiling. It feels so comfortable, almost like home. Dr Matalka and Dr Vo are both excellent. I'm extremely impressed with their knowledge and understanding of teeth and dental implants. Not only do they answer our questions but they listen to our concerns as well. They don't rush us, they let us be heard. You don't find that just anywhere! And Christine, I couldn't have done this without her. She's the best support you could ever ask for, she's with you through it all! You can't go wrong here. If dental implants are what you want, this is the place for you!
I have always been terrified of dental work and have had so many dental problems. I finally decided to look into the full arch dental implant surgery and talked with several oral surgeons around Alabama. Dr. Matalka and his staff (especially Christine) all made me feel so comfortable. He seemed so knowledgeable and experienced on this surgery, and also the most affordable. The day of surgery, I was given medication to calm my nerves before arriving at the studio which was a huge help because I’m a big chicken when it comes to this stuff. The anesthesiologist was wonderful and the whole process was fairly painless. I’m writing this the day after surgery and I am feeling so much better than I expected to at this point. Best of all, every time I walk by a mirror, I can’t help but smile. I’m so glad I did this! I highly recommend Birmingham Dental Implant Studio!!
My hubby/ I have gone to our consultation and ,though I am one of " those people" who are terrified of dentists, I am here to tell you,NOT THIS TIME! Every single person in that office was good,kind,patient and understanding to both of us They put us at ease,took care of us and treated us like family. And!! I literally SMILED at our dentist!! Me! Can you believe it??!! Christine,she's such a patient saint! She has spent so much time helping us get all our appointments and our financing lined up.Shes unbelievable! So,yall go on,go here. You won't regret it and I betcha you will LOVE them like I do! ❤️
Update! Everything is going great! Had my surgery and temps installed. Don't have a single thing to complain about! If yall can't decide to do it or not you are wasting time!! Go here,I PROMISE you,NOBODY ELSE is going to care like the people who are here! I absolutely love them!
My husband and I had a great experience here. From making the consultation online and walking in the office then to the day of surgery. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Dr. Matalka explained our options thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. He did our consultation and gave us a care plan. Christine was amazing. She went over our multiple financing options and I was surprised at how easy it was. We found a plan that we could afford. It was all above my expectations. We felt very comfortable the entire time, I didn't feel like we were being judged for our situation physically or financially. We were provided a care packet that went over what to expect and post surgery care. The surgery day went well and we felt very comfortable knowing we could reach out for any questions or concerns, even over the weekend. Booking the consultation to the day of surgery was less than 2 weeks, much quicker than we anticipated. Thank you all for exceptional care and service! 🩷
