I recently graduated from the Dental Assisting School of Atlanta and couldn’t be happier with the experience! The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about teaching. The hands-on training gave me the confidence and practical skills I needed to step into a dental office right after graduation. The curriculum was well-structured, and the support from both the staff and my classmates made the journey not only rewarding but truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this program to anyone considering a career in dental assisting!

“Best decision ever!”
I came to DASA a little nervous… now I’m leaving with knowledge, confidence, and a whole new career path! 😁🦷
From Day 1, the instructors made us feel welcome and supported. It’s not just about teeth – it’s about teamwork, passion, and becoming the best version of yourself.
💪💙 They believed in us even when we doubted ourselves.
If you’re thinking about becoming a dental assistant… stop thinking. Just DO IT. DASA is the real deal!
I had a great experience! The teachers were super helpful and really cared about us learning and feeling confident. I loved the hands-on training—we got a lot of real practice which made a big difference. Everyone was supportive and made the program feel like a team effort. Definitely recommend this school if you’re thinking about becoming a dental assistant!
As I approach graduation from this dental assistant program in just one week, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my experience and write my review. From start to finish, this program exceeded my expectations in every way and provided me with the skills, knowledge, and confidence I need to enter the dental field.
First, the instructors in this program were absolutely outstanding. Michelle is a genuine person with a passion for helping others. She is there every step of the way. Not only was she the instructor for almost every class, but you could contact her after hours and she would be there for you with answers to your questions. When I first met her, I thought she was the director of the program who would only be there once in a while, but no, she is an instructor who is truly immersed in her students and has a lot of knowledge and experience to share.
The other instructors also brought not only a experience from their careers in dentistry but also a passion for teaching and helping students succeed. Each instructor was patient, approachable, and dedicated to making sure every student understood the material. Kira was an instructor for my Monday class, and she was so helpful. She would get like 500 questions a day from everybody (probably 100 from me!), but she would still answer every question with kindness and patience. I got to do a few internship hours with Kira, so I got to see how she works in her endo office, and now I know she is not only an amazing instructor but also a great dental assistant. Her interactions with her patients were so calming and understanding.
Overall, all the instructors went above and beyond to ensure we were well prepared. Their encouragement and support made a lasting impression on me, and I am so grateful for their guidance.
The curriculum was thoughtfully designed. We covered a wide range of topics, including dental anatomy, infection control, sterilization techniques, chairside assisting, radiology, and so much more. Each topic created a strong foundation that prepared us for hands on experience. The mix of lectures, demonstrations, lab work, and clinical hours kept learning engaging and relevant.
One thing about this program is that they provide you with every piece of information you need. For the midterm and final, you have all the study materials and tutoring opportunities, it all depends on how you apply yourself. If you study and listen, you will pass.
One of the most valuable parts of the program was the internship/externship hours. I learned so much at my offices and got to observe and apply what I learned in the classroom. It allowed me to build my confidence, improve my speed and efficiency, and get a feel for what it’s really like to be part of a dental team.
In addition to the academic and technical skills I gained, this program helped me grow as a person. I became more organized, more confident in communicating with patients and coworkers, and more passionate about the field of dentistry.
Lastly, one thing I should not forget to mention is my classmates. I’ve never met a class so willing to help each other. Our class was truly there for each other, whether it came to the classroom, lab, or after hours studying. The people in my class made this experience wonderful.
If you are considering becoming a dental assistant, I cannot recommend this program enough. It is challenging but incredibly rewarding. The instructors truly care, the training is great, and you will graduate feeling prepared to step into a dental office and make a difference from day one. I’m proud to have been part of such a supportive and high quality program, and I will always look back on this experience as a positive one.
