An experience of a lifetime I am fortunate to have had this experience inside nature’s wilderness on the grounds of an active volcano. We were welcomed at a luxurious foyer of facilities, storage, changing and shower rooms. Guides Pablo, Isaac and Martin armed with deep ecological knowledge of foliage and wild life in this rain forest. More importantly, the ecological protection at Sensoria. A 1.5 hr (returned) moderate level walk with stick to Buenos Aires Falls which was breathtaking. The immensity and beauty of water overwhelms as we walked gently inside the falls. 3 Large untreated healing pools of minerals were spectacular in beauty and feel, each one with water cascading out of immense rock formations. At the end of our journey, drenched, we’re greeted with warm pool, towels and robes aligned with some snacks and 2 bottles of Moet et Chandon as we soaked in the final warm mineral pool. Followed by a beautiful lunch watching video of Sensoria’s purpose in preservation of wild life gives you that wonderful feeling to share in purpose. The amazing Pablo then returned us to Tamarindo.

Best Experience Ever! My daughter and I took a trip to Costa Rica to celebrate her 18th birthday, and it was truly the most incredible experience of my life. "Walking with Joaquín" was remarkable; I came away feeling a deeper connection to nature and gained valuable insights into the relationship between humans and the environment. I can’t wait to go back, and I hope to bring a larger group with me next time. I wholeheartedly recommend that everyone try the nature walk/hike!

Great time. We booked the Jaguar Luxury experience and had a great time. Our guides Isaac and Martin were great. At the last pool, we had delicious snacks and a bottle of champagne (definitely worth the cost). They had robes and towels for us to use, and the guides left us to ourselves with a radio to call them when we were ready. One word of caution- you definitely need a high(ish)-clearance vehicle if you’re going to drive yourself. The drive out there was long and very bumpy, and almost entirely unpaved.

Great day learning about the rainforest! We had the best time hiking through the rainforest and spotting different animals with our guide Isaac. We learned about different plants, and the waterfalls and he had an amazing eye for finding even the smallest animals. Lunch was delicious and even getting to Sensoria was beautiful.

Great experience We were given walking sticks and we hiked through the rainforest where our guide pointed out different plants and animals. We saw birds, a sloth, and a tiny viper. We had a snack at the waterfalls then headed back and swam in the pools and used the mud to exfoliate our skin. Afterwards we returned to the lodge where we showered and had a delicious lunch. This place helps preserve the rainforest and is used for research observational studies. Beautiful place; we would definitely go back. Cute gift store too

Rain or shine beautiful experience Even hiking under the rain and then the sun and later more rain Pablo (our tour guide) was excellent with all the information related to the forest (plants and animals). He is very professional and patient to guide us all the way to the river and the falls and not to mention the private spa thermal pool. A great way to experience Costa Rica!! Very enchanting and beautiful experience I didn’t realize you could enjoy nature so much in a downpour but that is what a rainforest is all about. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of insight about Costa Rican rainforests. We saw a monkey, snakes, toucans, and other birdsThe waterfalls were gorgeous. It is a moderately challenging hike with some steep up and down with wood stairs though.I would highly recommend this hiking excursion!!

Not to be missed Amazing experience! not to be missed while visiting Costa Rica. Really amazing time while visiting hiking and dipping in all 3 pools, ending he day with Volcano mud and dipping into warm spring water. THE BEST!!! We had the most accommodating driver, Pablo, the best tour guide Wokin, who also took great photos of us, and great choices for lunch. The place is super clean. Highly reommend!

Be in the moment It was a great hike, easy at the beginning and it all started with meditation for our group. The bath in the waterfalls were also very great experience and the snacks at the end was incredible. As we were a group I think our program was adjusted but it was an I credible experience.

Best birthday ever! It was a beautiful experience. I have limited walking and they accommodated me. I swam in 3 thermal pools with a short walk between each one. The guide was awesome, beautiful facilities, excellent service and delicious food.

A nice manicured tourist experience, but with a big price tag! Everyone was very friendly, and it's a great project for sure, but the price of it is unbelievable for what it offers. The little hike is nice, well set out on paths so great if you are not completely physically active or able. It is also short too, so accessible to everyone but if you are after a proper jungle hike, this may not be for you. Also if there were other tourists I imagine the pools and paths would be very overcrowded. There was only a handful of us there when I went. I was disappointed by what they offered and how much I paid. It's my first experience like this in Costa Rica and I have lived here for 3 years. The people were very friendly though, and the intention behind the project feels good.
