Dr. Wells and Dr Nathan took the time to explain each procedure, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The use of digital imaging helped me understand my condition better, and the treatment was virtually painless thanks to their sedation options.
What stood out most was the follow-up call the next day to check on my recovery, a small gesture that made a big difference. The office is spotless, and equipped with the latest technology.
As someone with dental anxiety, I’ve avoided procedures for years. DeBary Dentistry changed that. I highly recommend them for anyone seeking compassionate, knowledgeable and professional care.

Was greeted with a smile as always. Doctor Calhoun had a lot of extra work which he wasn’t expecting , but treated me like I was his only patient. He took pictures to decide which color for my permanent bridge. Veronica his assistant is also very thorough and I enjoy chatting with her.

Great dental care was given. The office staff, the dental assistant ( Ms. Glenda)who helped Dr.Wells were great. Of course, Dr. Wells was impressive not only with the treatment I received but excellent bedside manner.

Dr.Jonathan Elmore explained upfront what to expect with my tooth extraction. While he did the procedure, he explained step by step what was going on and what I could expect. I appreciated very much knowing what was happening as it happened. He’s an awesome dentist and I highly recommend him. Mi experiencia en este lugar fue muy preocupante y poco profesional.
Desde mi primera visita, presenté mi seguro y me confirmaron que lo aceptaban. A pesar de eso, me cobraron $50 en el momento y me indicaron que debía pagar $180 adicionales. Como paciente mayor, confié en la información que me dieron.
Posteriormente, verifiqué directamente con mi seguro y me confirmaron que no debía pagar absolutamente nada. Al regresar al establecimiento, el propio personal de recepción reconoció que no tenía ningún saldo pendiente.
Sin embargo, al solicitar la devolución de los $50, la única respuesta fue: “usted lo firmó”, sin explicación, sin revisión y sin ningún interés en resolver la situación.
Lo más grave es que ahora recibo una carta indicando que no soy “compatible como paciente”, una afirmación totalmente inapropiada, injustificada y contradictoria, especialmente después de haber aceptado atenderme desde el inicio.
Este tipo de manejo genera desconfianza, refleja falta de ética administrativa y deja mucho que desear en el trato hacia los pacientes. No recomiendo este lugar si buscan transparencia, respeto y claridad en los procesos.
My experience at this place was very concerning and unprofessional.
From my first visit, I presented my insurance and was told that it was accepted. Despite this, I was charged $50 at the time and informed that I would need to pay an additional $180. As an older patient, I trusted the information I was given.
Later, I verified directly with my insurance, and they confirmed that I should not have to pay anything at all. When I returned to the facility, the front desk staff themselves acknowledged that I had no outstanding balance.
However, when I requested a refund of the $50, the only response I received was, “you signed it,” with no explanation, no review, and no effort to resolve the situation.
What is most concerning is that I have now received a letter stating that I am “not compatible as a patient,” which is completely inappropriate, unjustified, and contradictory—especially after they had already agreed to treat me from the beginning.
This type of handling creates distrust, reflects poor administrative ethics, and leaves a lot to be desired in terms of patient care and respect. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for transparency, respect, and clear processes.
