I adore this place! Everyone here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about strings. I teach music as a profession, and I can say firsthand that Day Violins understands the importance of music and its history.
From the moment you step inside, you'll feel that everyone loves what they do and are happy to share the joy of string instruments with you. Not to mention that they have two skilled luthiers that work in shop. If an instrument ever needs a repair or adjustment, it is worked on in shop! No need to ship it somewhere out of state.
I'd give this review 6 stars if I could. Every time I visit, it's a wonderful time with great people!
This is a wonderful place to find your instrument! Two of my daughters have had wonderful experiences finding their cello/violin here! The owner and staff were so nice. And both time they answered all our questions and made it a wonderful experience for my daughters!!! Was well worth the hour and a half drive for us!

I heard great things about Day Violins from friends and suggested by our middle school teacher. My son is a rising 6th grader and Craig helped us with our violin rental. He was very patient and explained everything about the rental and how to take care of the instrument and gave good advice to my son. I highly recommend Day Violins for your instrument rental needs.

Very happy with the work Day Violins did on my family heirloom violin that hadn’t been touched in decades. The luthier I met with was very professional and walked me through all the repairs that were needed to get it playable again. Prices were reasonable and I never felt like I was being upsold on things I didn’t need. Staff were very friendly and I can tell they all care about what they do. I’m very pleased with the work that was done and I would definitely return in the future.
