We received one of The Celtic Clays mugs as a gift. It is wonderful, so we felt compelled to order the other three colors to complete a set. Ciaran is wonderfully communicative. Our new mugs arrived in the US exactly when he said they would and were very well packed. They are not just beautiful, but are also practical. The handle feels very good in the hand and the weight and size are perfect.

The pottery at Celtic Clays is beautifully crafted and well designed!! It was a pleasure to work with Ciaran. He is delightful!! He is an artist who pays attention to detail. I love the unique symbolism in his pottery pieces. He did some custom pottery for me and kept me informed through the whole process. (Even sent photos) I received two shipments from him and everything was so well packed. No Breakage!! Highly recommend Celtic Clays!!

We bought our first pieces of Celtic Clays pottery over 20 years ago, then received an assortment of pieces as wedding gifts the following year. We have used our pitcher, bowls and mugs daily since then and they've kept up beautifully. We unfortunately broke 2 pieces (dropped them) over the years, so we stopped by Ciaran's workshop to replace them. We ended up buying several more pieces as well, which were very carefully packaged and shipped back to the US to greet us on our return. The quality of craftsmanship and the durability of Celtic Clays pieces is second to none - excellent for gifts as well as your own home!

I am so happy to have discovered "Celtic Clay". Each piece is absolutely beautiful, genuinely hand crafted and made with great love and care. If you are looking for a special gift from Ireland, look no further. The mugs I bought are a special gift to myself. They arrived this morning, safe and sound, all individually well packaged. I'm now looking forward to drinking my tea from these mugs, knowing that I am holding a very special piece of Irish craftsmanship in my hands. Over the years, I have bought Celtic Clays items both here in the states and in Ireland. I was very happy to hear they were back in business in recent years. I have a variety of mugs, covered dishes and plates. While they would be worthy of just being display items, all are in regular use. I’ve never had so much as a chip, Recently, I ordered customized plates. Ciaran kept me abreast of each step in the process, even sending little videos at various stages. Even an “ocean away”, the communication is great and the shipping is worry free. The website is very well done and each item that I have purchased is exactly as described. I highly recommend Celtic Clays as “the real deal”

The owner reached out when they couldn't fulfill my entire order and offered suggestions for replacement or different shipping (I am in the states).
