I highly recommend Dan’s Heating & Air. I have their maintenance plan where they come out twice a year to check both my AC and furnace. Very reasonably priced. Always professional and thorough. What I really appreciate Is their honest assessment about the condition of my units and they never trying to upsell me or change out a part that doesn’t actually need repair. I’ve had that with other companies that are always trying to upsell. They’ve come out timely on emergency situations. And always with a good attitude. Consider myself lucky to have found such a reliable company!
I have been doing business with Dan's for over 7 yrs and my last experience was not acceptable. I purchased a mini split from Dan's and it does not work properly for the heat. Upon calling them out they advised that the outside unit and the inside unit were not compatible and this is what was causing the issue. I also needed a relay fixed which they did. Upon trying to pay, the techs card reader didnt work so I could not pay then. Tech advised they would follow up with resolution. This was Feb. I received an email in Apr with an invoice for the relay. I called Dan's and was told there was no resolution for my mini split. I discussed my concerns of lack of communication about the mini split and asked what assurance do I have that If pay invoice will I get my mini split fixed. When I advised I would come the next day to pay again I was told they couldn't accept my payment. At this point the representative who announced herself as the owners wife, started to get agitated with my line of questions and co cerns. She advised me Dan's does not do business this way. As I continue with my concerns she even started yelling and advised the tech would reach out. I again asked what guarentee I have do to the lack of communication already. She began to yell again so I disconnected the call. As of this post it has now been a week and again no communication about my mini split. This is unacceptable and I was told this is not how Dan's does business, but I must say proof is in action....and Dan's has yet to take action and has left me with faulty products and blame the manufacturer. Well I did business with Dan's not the manufacturer of the mini split. Mind you I waited for them to do the right thing before making this post and awaited communication back. I would urge you do not do business here. I have a 4000 dollar mini split that half works.
Clem and Connor came out to check my parents’ unit. As it turns out, the unit was fine, but the settings on the thermostat had been configured incorrectly. My parents would have NEVER been able to rectify that on their own. Clem was so patient with their questions and lack of understanding 😂 and reconfigured all the settings for them; I’m incredibly grateful!
