Jim is the best contractor I have ever hired for a job, and the only contractor for a full home renovation. He designed and built an entire home renovation for my current home. If there was ever any issue he would resolve immediately, even when something small came up 2 years later! I give Jim the highest possible recommendation and have already passed him onto many friends and family for all types of projects.

Their tradespeople were courteous, professional, and kept the job site remarkably clean. The craftsmanship on the final build exceeded our expectations. I recently hired D2 to enclose my porch and was so impressed! Every single person we interacted with took pride in their work and showed up with professionalism. They arrived when they said they would, stayed on budget and schedule, and delivered exactly what we discussed. After the project wrapped, the Office Manager, Peter and the Project Coordinator, Stephanie, came by to personally see the finished work, check that we were happy, and brought us a plant as a little housewarming gift, which was a lovely gesture. I’d absolutely hire D2 again and highly recommend them!

A+ for D2! We highly recommend D2. We had designed a 10x10' addition to our semi in East York, and within it a new bathroom and hallway, storage space and we also had a storage room that needed waterproofing and finishing. D2's team made suggestions and lor efficiencies, they executed the demo and build at a high level and throughout the process we found them professional and responsive. We expected a few bumps in the road as this is a 75 year old property in an area known for termites. We felt D2 did a great job of helping us navigate those bumps, offering advice and options and letting us make decisions quickly so that we could move forward and keep on schedule. We will be going back to them when the time comes for our next project.

In the end, we were very happy with our home renovation. Full kitchen reno, full basement reno, bathroom, upstairs flooring, 2 new windows, insulation, and refinished floors. Started at the beginning of February. We were back in our home by the start of May. Amazing.

They didn't charge for a consultation, since they are in the business to "help people" and set up a follow up meeting to go through the project details that same week. 5 stars!

We use D2 Build for 2 reno projects. Our main flooring & kitchen was transformed within a budget we could work with and then we enclosed in our front porch which turned out amazing. Steve and the entire crew were professional and always quick to entertain any questions or concerns. Called D2 Build and spoke to Jim about a tricky situation I'm having with my neighbour, who's renovating the semi I'm attachd to in Leslieville. He listened patiently as I walked him through the situation and he gave me some really good advice free of charge. His knowledge of the building code, his familiarity with the challenges that come with party walls, and his solution-minded approach to solving my problem was really reassuring. When the time comes to renovate my side of the semi, D2 Build will definitely be on my list of contractors to hire.
