I can’t say enough good things about Valentin and his team. From day one they were just… solid. Always turned up when they said they would, replied quickly, kept me updated, and I never had to chase. You can tell they really care about doing things properly — everything was finished to a high standard and there was no cutting corners. I also changed my mind a few times along the way (sorry guys 😅) and they were honestly so patient and flexible about it. Nothing ever felt like a problem. They did loads for me: new floors, painting the whole flat, a full bathroom redo with a walk-in shower and underfloor heating, custom wardrobes built exactly how I wanted, radiators replaced, kitchen units updated, and they handled all the electrical work too. It all looks great and feels properly done. They even dealt with deliveries, post, and sorting utilities — which, if you’re working full-time and doing this on your own, is a massive help. As a single woman in the office every day, having a team I could trust like this made the whole thing so much less stressful. Total lifesavers. Would recommend them to anyone without hesitation

Bathroom Renovation We recently had our bathroom renovated by CVI Builders, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. Their workmanship is exceptionally clean, neat, and precise, with finishing of the highest standard. You can tell they take immense pride in their craft, having great attention detail to make sure the result is flawless. He and his team displayed remarkable problem solving skills and he was able to identify a decade long ongoing issue and provide a solution within days. Jobs may take longer than stated as he is a perfectionist in his work. If you decide to hire Valentin he will go above and beyond of what you expected.

We hired CVI Builders to build a patio and a pergola at the back of our garden. Plus a patio and new flowerbeds at the front. Valentin and his team are great. They listened and built exactly what we wanted. It’s all top quality, done with attention to detail and at a fair price. I appreciate that we knew what we were paying upfront, they don’t add on costs during the project. Also, they genuinely care about doing a good job which can’t be said of all builders! This was the second time we’ve used CVI builders having used them for a home renovation last year. They will continue to be our go-to in future.

Wraparound extension and full house refurbishment for a Victorian house This was not a straightforward job (Victorian house surprise issues + deep foundations+ clay soil + proximity of trees).The project included a full rewire, underfloor heating to the whole ground floor, moving a kitchen and adding a bathroom, utility room and office. Valentin made suggestions which greatly improved the result. As an example, we were able to remove the chimney in the new kitchen location completely thanks to the addition of a steel beam + several parts of the house are now structurally safe. I highly recommend Valentin & team for work of this type. You're in good hands.

After much searching for a reputable builder, I hired CVI Builders for the addition of a wraparound extension to my Victorian house. It wasn't straightforward because the foundations needed to be very deep due to the proximity of a cherry tree. Additionally, as is always the case with these old houses, we unearthed a few more issues during the build that needed to be addressed. The project ended up being a full house refurbishment with a full rewire, underfloor heating to the whole ground floor, moving a kitchen and adding a bathroom, utility room and office. Valentin took my initial plans and made suggestions which greatly improved the result. As an example, we were able to remove the chimney in the new kitchen location completely thanks to the addition of a steel beam. This has made a big difference to the useability of the kitchen. There were several areas of the house which were reinforced structurally as well. Valentin and Igor worked extremely hard and I'm over the moon with the end result. Everyone who has been to visit has commented on the quality of the finish. I highly recommend Valentin and his team for work of this type. You're in good hands.

As promised by Valentin, there were no increases in the price despite some significant unexpected challenges coming up. He also made suggestions that improved the final result. He is honest and truly cares about doing a high-quality job. Communication was very easy. CVI builders did an extension, new plumbing, heating and electrics, new internal walls, stairs, removing chimney breasts, installing a kitchen, new floors, patio and paint and it all came out top quality and at a reasonable price. We hired CVI Builders for an extensive renovation of a Victorian 3 bed property and are super happy with the result. The property was in a pretty run-down condition and now looks stunning. As promised by Valentin, there were no increases in the originally quoted price despite some significant unexpected challenges coming up that his team dealt with. He also made helpful suggestions for improvements to our plans that improved the final result, even if those changes meant more work for his team. He is honest and truly cares about doing a high quality job and not cutting corners. Communication was very easy - we had a WhatsApp group and he was very responsive at all times of day. It felt like he was very focused on our job and getting it done. CVI builders did an extension, new plumbing, heating and electrics, new internal walls, stairs, removing chimney breasts, installing a kitchen, new floors, patio and paint and it all came out top quality and at a reasonable price. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Extension I just had a new extension and a new internal layout done, including a new bathroom and kitchen. Valentin and his team did a great job, keeping us up to date with all the work and the different stages of the build. Any obstacles that were encountered, he dealt with in a calm manner and helped us make the right choices. Great price, great job, and a pleasure to work with. We are very happy with the results, and no disruption was caused to our neighbours. Valentin has since completed our drive a way to complete the look of our home. Another great job done.
