After much searching for a reputable builder, I hired CVI Builders for the addition of a wraparound extension to my Victorian house. It wasn't straightforward because the foundations needed to be very deep due to the proximity of a cherry tree. Additionally, as is always the case with these old houses, we unearthed a few more issues during the build that needed to be addressed. The project ended up being a full house refurbishment with a full rewire, underfloor heating to the whole ground floor, moving a kitchen and adding a bathroom, utility room and office. Valentin took my initial plans and made suggestions which greatly improved the result. As an example, we were able to remove the chimney in the new kitchen location completely thanks to the addition of a steel beam. This has made a big difference to the useability of the kitchen. There were several areas of the house which were reinforced structurally as well. Valentin and Igor worked extremely hard and I'm over the moon with the end result. Everyone who has been to visit has commented on the quality of the finish. I highly recommend Valentin and his team for work of this type. You're in good hands.

We hired CVI Builders for an extensive renovation of a Victorian 3 bed property and are super happy with the result. The property was in a pretty run-down condition and now looks stunning. As promised by Valentin, there were no increases in the originally quoted price despite some significant unexpected challenges coming up that his team dealt with. He also made helpful suggestions for improvements to our plans that improved the final result, even if those changes meant more work for his team. He is honest and truly cares about doing a high quality job and not cutting corners. Communication was very easy - we had a WhatsApp group and he was very responsive at all times of day. It felt like he was very focused on our job and getting it done. CVI builders did an extension, new plumbing, heating and electrics, new internal walls, stairs, removing chimney breasts, installing a kitchen, new floors, patio and paint and it all came out top quality and at a reasonable price. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Valentin and this team have done an amazing job on our extension, we are so please with the final result! The project was very large and complex due to the steels needed and the age of the house. Valentin gave a very competitive quote and came up with some great ideas about how to approach it. During the works the team made sure the disruption to us was kept to the minimum and was very clean and tidy. The quality of the workmanship was spot on and great attention to detail was exceptional!
