We received a very professional estimate of the work to be done. The estimator listened carefully to what we were asking for and the written estimate reflected those instructions. The team that did the work was on time, very courteous, and efficient. The pressure washing of the house was absolutely satisfactory, but the exterior window cleaning knocked it out of the park. Not one drip or spot to be found anywhere! I'm done doing my exterior windows myself; Cutting Edge is the way to go.

The estimate I was given for Christmas light service included taking the lights down, but that was verbal with no itemized written copy of services given to me. I paid up front the total amount and got a surprise bill later charging for the take down of the lights even after having received an e-mail receipt specifically for the take down service. The person who took the lights down told me again that the service was included in the upfront payment. My advise is to get everything in writing before you write a check.

In previous years, takedown was included in our total pricing, but starting last year, we updated our policy to separate the installation and takedown fees. We understand that verbal agreements can sometimes lead to confusion, and we truly regret any miscommunication that may have occurred.

Beware! We had a person come out to quote us on cleaning the roof for our 1,150ft house in Eugene. We weren't sure if we needed to buy a new roof or just get it cleared and the person told us it just needed to be cleaned after taking a look at it. The person quoted us around $700 and said we needed to pay half up front which we did. A few days later on the scheduled day to do the cleaning we get a message after they didn't show up at 8:00 that it was too cold so they would be coming later. Eventually when they showed up they started to brush the roof and quickly decided that they were damaging it by brushing it. Now they won't refund us all the money that was paid for the first half of the payment nor will they take responsibility for any of the damage they did to the roof while they were there.
In response: If you noticed that the roof was fragile and aged and proceeded to recommend a cleaning anyways that seems like a poor business practice. "The inspection" occurred during the quoting process that was "free of charge". No work was "completed", just some damage done to the roof by your employee as they brushed the roof. I fully understand that your employees need to be compensated for their time, but the error that occurred here was made by your company when you recommended a cleaning of a "fragile and aged" roof and then proceeded to damage it. The customer should not be the one responsible for your error. A transparent and ethical local business would take responsibility for their employees mistakes.

During our initial inspection, we noticed that your roof was in an aged and fragile condition, based on our assessment, we proceeded with cleaning rather than recommending immediate replacement.
On the scheduled service day, we adjusted our timing due to cold weather conditions to ensure the safest and most effective cleaning process. However, upon beginning the work, it became evident that the roof’s pre-existing condition posed significant concerns. To prevent any further issues, we made the decision to stop the service and promptly informed you of the situation.
Regarding your deposit, we are processing a refund. However, as we did come out, assess the roof, and begin the job, a portion of the deposit will cover the time and resources spent on inspection and the initial work completed. This is a standard practice when unforeseen circumstances prevent us from moving forward with a service.
We strive to provide honest, professional service and regret that this situation was not ideal for either of us. Please let us know if you have any questions or how you’d like to proceed regarding the refund. We appreciate your understanding.

We had the gutters cleaned at our house and our two rental duplexes. Some are two story and others one level. We also had a moss treatment done at all three places. They did an outstanding job in all ways. They were prompt and accurate in their replies to questions. The bids were reasonable and matched the final bill. I hired Cutting Edge Window Cleaning Services to install my Christmas lights and outdoor displays this year. The two gentlemen who were sent to assemble them for me, Dylan and Miguel, were extremely thorough and did an excellent job. They even stayed an extra hour to finish putting the rest of the rope lights up along the perimeter of the fence in my backyard with the wind and rain blowing and coming down in intermittent sheets. I felt like they totally went above and beyond their assignment, and they deserve many ‘kudos’ for their dedication and performance.
