Have been a customer of Custom Mechanical for many years. They have installed and serviced my heating and cooling equipment honestly and fairly. I have also called on them for plumbing maintenance and repairs.They may not always be “cheapest” but my experience has proven them to be very economical over the long term. Service personnel are courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. Great customer service, solid advice on repairs and quick to respond to my needs. I have recommended them to friends and would not hesitate to do so again.

Good experience with Coty Bailey from Custom Mechanical. Had several small plumbing jobs that I needed help with; outside hose bib leaking, Kohler shower control leaking, installing warm water recirculating pump. Coty called about 15 mins out to advise he was on the way. He arrived and I briefed him on what needed done and he set to work without hesitation. He installed a new Kohler shower valve, a new outside hose bib and installed a recirculating pump that I had from a previous install as well as new hoses on my washer. Coty worked diligently on each task and also installed a small shelf to hold the recirculating pump on the back wall of the bathroom vanity. His work involved being down on the floor working under the vanity, crawling under the house to remove the old hose bib and reinstall the new one and standing to replace the shower valve. He carried a backpack with most tools he needed for each task and spent little time going back to the truck for tools or supplies. All work completed successfully.

Thought this would be simple fix! Noticed a slow external leak in back of guest bathroom toilet. Assumed gasket between tank and bowl was defective so called Custom Mechanical. Josh arrived a few hours later and after diagnosis offered to either replace gasket or alternatively rebuild entire tank system. We opted for rebuild as stool was 20 years old. Long story but Josh replaced everything, rechecked and still leaked! Replaced gasket with another version, still leaked! Could not identify any cracks or other defects causing leak so had to throw in towel and recommend either new tank or new stool. Josh was efficient, thorough and communicated his findings throughout the process. We are working on acquiring a new toilet and will have Josh back for install shortly. Nothing is ever as simple as it seems.😉
