I called in an order for a 9” red velvet cake for my partner’s birthday at about 4pm, to be ready for 10am the next morning. I was impressed and surprised at the heft of the cake, and how gorgeous it was!
It could not have been more delicious. It was rich, but not too dense. The cream cheese frosting was perfect. We cut over 20 slices from it. Everyone commented on how fantastic the cake was.
Big thanks to the team at Crumbly for their customer service and impeccable baking skills. Thank you so much for making his birthday extra special! We will definitely be making Crumbly a tradition.
I ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday party - they did an amazing job! Could not have asked for a more beautiful cake, it was even more beautiful than the inspiration pictures I showed them. Thank you sooo much. After a long walk uptown, I stopped at Crumbly on the way home to relax and have a cup of coffee. The coffee was very nice. The pastries looked delicious and we have taken them home on more than one occasion. Today just coffee. Got a small table outside and watch the world walk and drive by. A nice addition to our neighborhood.
Thank you for providing desserts for a baby shower I hosted in NYC but planned it remotely. I based ordering my dessert off of reviews, recommendations and location. I had awesome communication with the Mia and the Crumbly team! My questions were answered in a timely manor and Mia had great suggestions and offerings based on my baby shower theme! The final results were incredible. The carrot cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. I think two people may have ordered from Crumbly since the baby shower, that's how outstanding it was! The macarons were delicious, the cake pops, incredible, and the cupcakes just amazing! The packaging and presentation was great, too! Thank you so much for your delicious treats which helped make the day so perfect. I recommend you to anyone and will be back next time I'm in the city visiting my sister and the new baby! While looking for a birthday cake for a colleague I fortunately found Crumbly. The gentleman by the counter who took my order was extremely patient with me. He walked me through the choices and we settled on a 9inch 3 layer confetti cake with chocolate icing, sprinkles, etc. The next day I picked up the cake and the baker who brought the cake out to me, was fantastic. She couldn't have been nicer. The cake? It was fantastic. My colleague whose birthday we were celebrating and all of us lucky to have some of the cake LOVED IT. Highly recommend!
I ordered a cake from Crumbly (the 1st Ave location) for my birthday recently. To say that they did everything perfectly would be a major understatement!! I reached out just a week before my party, and they were so quick to help and make it happen in time. I also have a soy allergy, and they were incredibly accommodating — it honestly made the whole process stress-free. The cake itself turned out even better than I expected, both in how it looked and how it tasted. Everyone at Crumbly was so nice and friendly from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend them more!
