Great gym very welcoming and friendly, you have the proper motivation and always someone to talk to and keep you motivated. All coaches are great I can't pick a favorite or else I might start a feud Lol. But in all seriousness each coach provides there own way in motivation and ways to prepare you for the workout plans. The programs here are great as well, so far I've only done the 7 week shred but I'm hoping to do more. Great place and atmosphere.
I can't say enough good things about Stephanie and her stretching sessions at Cross Kicks Fitness. She's helped me so much - not only with my mobility, but with how body feels as well. I am recovering better and moving better than I have in a very long time.
I would recommend her to anyone looking to take better care of their body.
I've been training at Cross Kicks Fitness, and it's been an awesome experience. Everyone there is welcoming, and the trainers are experienced, motivating, and always willing to help you improve. They take the time to teach you the right techniques, push you to be your best, and create a great environment to train in. I've gotten stronger, more confident, and feel more prepared every time I step on the basketball court.
I also highly recommend the stretching sessions with Stephanie. She does an amazing job and really knows what she's doing. Getting stretched before basketball helps my body feel loose, recovered, and ready to play. I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. If you're looking for a place with great trainers and people who truly care about your progress, Cross Kicks Fitness is definitely the place to go.
Coach Abby virtually trained me for the NYC Hyrox when I was unable to come out to CFK due to work, she is incredibly supportive and welcoming, and adapted my workouts to be able to more accessible to me in my commercial gym for the entire 12 week program. She answered any questions I had and always offered extra supports. The CFK gym itself is one of the best communities and best coaches Ive had to pleasure of being introduced to.
Loved this place!! Walking in after a day of work and not having to think about a workout is the absolute best. The coaches are very helpful and knowledgeable if you don't know how to do something or just want a little extra push (one of the key benefits of going to a gym like this is for accountability and support, right?!). They also leave you alone if you don't want to be bothered ;). It's nice how there is a different workout designed for each core muscle group every day. Very clean space and has all of the equipment I need in a gym. Lastly, the friendly fitness community and fitness challenges they offer are so special and what sets this place apart from other gyms. Highly recommend!!
Would be a great environment if people could worry about competing with themselves instead of judging others or just being helpful on the gym floor to learn while paying a lot. Allegedly this is a common issue. It seems like management is worried about competitions / being the best vs running a business / making it welcoming for members .. with a high fee. More relatable the better vs coming off as better than everyone. Staff should be supportive and not make anyone uncomfortable.
Speaking up for positivity isn’t overly welcome. Even though it’s portrayed. Words are important behind close doors too. The gym isn’t what it was initially supposed to be back in the day.
In response: yes, I was a member. Canceled in last 4 months. I hope this helps reflect and be better. Some members say same thing.

Lifesaver
Crosskicks has been a life saver for me. I was at a tipping point and needed to get my health on track so I also joined their 90 day challenge. Thanks to all their help with adjusting my diet, planning unique daily exercise routines, and my weekly diet report card review (yep, its a thing, and its great) I have lost 25lbs and counting and the contest is not done yet! All of the staff are awesome. John and Ilona have been particularly helpful on the diet side as I had a lot to learn to get to a sustainable plan. Strongly recommend.

Tony and Abby have built something unbelievable at Cross Kicks. They truly care about EVERY person that walks in. This is the best 50-minute workout you’ll find—period.
The trainers are elite, the people are awesome, and the energy is next level. They don’t just push you in workouts—they help you with your health, your nutrition, everything.
If you’re nervous about trying it, don’t be. Just show up ONE time… you’ll be hooked.
Amazing culture. Amazing people. Amazing place.
Great place to go. Coaches are helpful and want to make sure you’re doing things safely, other gym members are welcoming

Thank you Hannah! We’ve truly enjoyed being part of both you and Carl’s fitness journey. You two show up, put in the work, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. We’re excited to see you both crush the 7 Week Shred 💪
I joined Cross Kicks South Elgin about 2.5 months ago after years of working out at home and struggling with consistency and to really push myself. Deciding to join a gym was a big step, and I’m so glad I did. This place has quickly become a second home for me. I’m now showing up 4–6 times a week and actually miss it on the days I’m not there.
The community is incredibly kind and supportive, and the coaches do a great job of helping you learn more about movement, muscles, your body, and nutrition along the way. The workouts are never boring; they’re always changing things up so it stays interesting and challenging. I’ve seen real progress in both my strength and consistency since joining. I’m so grateful I found Cross Kicks and plan to be a member for a long, long time.

I joined this gym end of July 2025. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my membership due to financial reasons. To be clear, not that it wasn’t worth it - my husband will be going on a small business journey, causing us to review our “extra” spending. In any case, I gained more than just friends here, I gained family. On top of learning so much on how to get my body and mental health in tip top shape, I belonged to a community. Everyone (literally everyone) had each other’s back. Although the coaches are there to help, other members were more than willing to help out, whether it be exercise instruction or spotting you. The time flexibility and extras (workshops; competition; etc;) are what sets this gym apart from the rest.I miss everyone and look forward to coming back once we’re steady on our feet with the business venture.

Mary, we miss you! Thank you again for the kind words and we are always here for you.
One of the most welcoming gym communities I have ever experienced
I have done several events at crosskicks and everyone is friendly, they remember your name, and things about you personally (kids etc.). Their coaches are living what they preach, and it shows in the success they have had in Deka and Hyrox competitions. I am FAR from an elite athlete, yet every event I have been to I feel like I am encouraged and pushed just like the athletes competing for podiums. I would highly recommend Crosskicks to anyone.
