12 stones has many things going for it. First, it’s a CrossFit gym that emphasizes core strength, teamwork, and personal growth. The coaches help you customize each workout so you get the most from it. The team atmosphere is really encouraging and I love that I don’t have to think ahead about what weights to lift, because they rotate the different core muscle groups for you. Being a member at 12 stones has been great for my physical strength and my mental health.
I have always wanted to do CrossFit. Every few months I’d do some research and then get intimidated. On a whim two months ago my wife and I took that leap with 12 Stones. The vibe was just…. Just what we needed. No high pressure to already be in peak shape. They truly meet you where you are at and the culture fosters growth within. Coaches are encouraging, helpful, and informative. Everyone has been welcoming! We are enjoying it so much we want to go every day.
This is an awesome gym! Whether you like CrossFit or you've never tried it, I would highly recommend giving this gym a try. The coaches are knowledgeable and patient, and they emphasize good form and safety above everything else. Every movement in every workout can be scaled down to something you can do, while the intensity goes as high as you want to push yourself.

Hey Lidia, hope all is well! I was curious what led to the 2 star review? It seemed that you were doing great for the month you were in town and never reported any issues. Would love to hear more about your experience.
I just joined 12 Stones and have not regretted it. I'm a 66 year old cyclist that has neglected a good portion of my body for years. I was nervous about joining a crossfit gym but after coaxing from my daughter and wife decided to go for it. I found thst 12 Stones met me where I was physically and really focused on technique to avoid injuries while increasing my overall fitness. They offer variations on exercises with the understanding that we all starting at different levels and abilities. The coaching has been amazing and the members and staff are positive and non-judgemental. I would highly recommend at least coming in and talking with them to see if this 12 Stones is a good fit or attending a Friendship Friday to really get a feel for the workouts.
12 Stone Crossfit has become a 2nd home for both my husband and me. My husband has attended the 55+ class for nearly 3 years. That class has the foundations of a Crossfit class with the appropriate adjustments made for the "masters." Members seem to be close knit, it's a great vibe. I have been receiving either personal training or small group training because for me that's the most viable option. I am so very pleased with my progress. Aryn tailors each workout based on my particular needs. I am feeling way more strong and confident. I am enjoying "going to the gym" for the first time, maybe ever! We can't love 12 Stone any greater! An awesome facility all the way around.
I joined 12 stones recently looking for some variety in my workout routine. I was pleasantly surprised how welcoming and supportive everyone has been. In this short amount of time I have already noticed improvement in my strength and endurance. I wish I would have joined 12 stones earlier, highly recommend!
This is the best place in town to go, no matter what your gym experience is. All of the coaches have your life-long health in mind, spend time teaching and correcting techniques to make sure you are lifting properly, and are willing to meet you wherever you are at in your fitness journey. Everyone is very personable, and they make you feel welcome every time you walk in the door. Whether you are new, or experienced, everyone should give 12 Stones a try!
Been going to this gym for about a month or so now and it's been an amazing experience. I suffer from shoulder pain and instability as well as a lack of mobility and all the coaches with their unique styles have really helped me feel welcome and apart of. They've also been extremely helpful with helping me scale back on workouts and form to help cater to but also strengthen my shoulder. As someone who always use to clown on crossfit, it's the real deal. It's a full body workout that I don't have to play. Or think about and it's so much fun
Staff and gym members are very encouraging and it's just a super warm experience. 10 outta 10 for my vote.
I have been going to this gym for nearly a year. I have found that coaches are very helpful and also very encouraging as they support you in your fitness goals. The other members of this gym are also very supportive, friendly, and approachable. I would strongly encourage anyone who wants to take their fitness to a new level to consider Crossfit 12 Stones.
I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Crossfit 12 Stones. The gym is big and at a convenient location! What stands out most are the great coaches—they’re knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. The atmosphere is family-oriented, making it a welcoming place for all fitness levels. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance your routine, this gym truly feels like a community.
Overall, Crossfit 12 Stones is a fantastic choice for anyone. I highly recommend checking it out!
If you have ever thought of trying CrossFit, 12 Stones Cross fit is the place to go!! This is a family run business. The owners coach as well as several others that are certified. All are very kind and approachable. They are knowledgeable in finding alternative or scaled versions of the movements. I am in my early 60's. I have been a member or 1 year. I want something to give me a strong base as I grow older. I am definitely stronger. It has allowed me to be more functional at home. I like CrossFit for the variation of the workouts. I like the community that 12 Stones CrossFit provides.
