I scheduled a scale certification appointment a month in advance, and was told the technician would arrive at 9:30 AM on the Tuesday I requested. I assumed everything was set for the event day as agreed. However, the day of the event came and no one showed up or called.
A few hours after the scheduled time, I had to call them myself. I was told they were “waiting for the backend to put me in the system.” I explained that this appointment had been arranged a month ago and that their delay was putting my event at risk. The representative assured me they would come out the next morning and would call me beforehand.
The next day, no call. Once again, I had to follow up, and my team confirmed that no one had arrived to certify our scales. The same representative answered and repeated that we were still not in their system—despite the fact that we used their services in January of this same year, and I own a scale calibration company in Illinois myself. It takes less than five minutes to enter someone into a system; I document things all the time and know how simple this process should be.
She then said she had no idea when they would be able to come out, even though our event ends on Saturday. This has been a terrible experience from start to finish. There has been zero communication—not even a reply to an email I sent over a week ago. Now every calibration company within a 20-mile radius is fully booked, and I have wasted my entire workday trying to get just two 0.01g scales certified for the state of Alabama because this company has been incompetent in more ways than one.

Brett is fantastic, he really helped my family out, when our tractor blew a hydraulic hose we called him, and told him exactly what we needed. He had it ready and waiting on us when we got there. I cannot thank him enough.

I’m from Tampa, FL we came up to Asheville to do some rehab work. Needed some supplies from Cross Hose and Fittings and ended up in a raffle in which I won a 50” Tv FREE! Woodie fixed me right up when I showed him the fuel hose I wanted to mount a fuel counter on. I was in and out in 20 minutes and am very happy with the service. I knew I was in the right place when I walked in the door.
