Team are always friendly and give fair, expert advice on both eye care and eye wear. With age my eyesight is becoming more complex with strong reading vision in one eye and distance vision in the other. The Crosby Village Eyewear team (opticians and front of house team) were patient and accommodating as I ran through various options from multi focal contact lenses (which I’d had previously) to artificial spectacles to a straight up distance prescription for driving. In the end I opted for new lenses to new long distance prescription in my original Tom Ford frames. With special driving coating and rapid transition lenses for sunlight they work a treat. Very happy and would recommend the CVE team services.

I have been using Crosby Village Eyewear for years for my eye tests. Mr Deacon is always great and does a thorough eye test and explains everything clearly. The staff in the office are always extremely friendly, helpful and professional. My most recent visit, I needed to choose glasses for the first time. The girls were so patient with me and gave great practical advice for how to select the best for me. The new glasses arrived at the opticians quickly in 9 days despite a bank holiday and Nicki was great in making sure they fit me correctly. She is always so helpful in mending broken frames as well and has done so on a few occasions for the family. Thank you to everyone for the exceptional service. I wouldn't go anywhere else even though I have now moved to the Wirral, I will still be using Crosby Village Eyewear!

I was delighted with Crosby Eyewear. There is a lovely atmosphere in the shop and the staff are extremely helpful. I had a full eye examination by the optician who is very kind and experienced. He talked me through all the tests and although I have been nervous at opticians before I felt completely at ease here. I was then given help by the lady in charge of glasses. She helped me choose some brilliant frames. I collected my 2 new pairs of glasses this morning and am so pleased with them. Thank you to Crosby eyewear for a wonderful experience. I recommend anyone who needs an eye check to go there. Thank you!

First time visiting this optician and the whole experience has been wonderful. Staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff here. Optician was superb and informative. He picked up on a life long issue that no other optician had mentioned. Prices are excellent. Certainly comparable if not more affordable than the other opticians I have used. They also have deals for people who need more than one pair of glasses. The range of frames is extensive. From budget to designer and everything in between. They can even update your existing frames with your new prescription if you want. Something that no other local optician seems to offer. Most importantly my new glasses are brilliant and I can see again! Great opticians and highly recommended. I only wish I had discovered them years ago.

We have been coming here for years.. My daughter was referred from Alder Hey as a little girl, she’s 14 now.. She won’t go anywhere else.. This years eye test was better than ever.. The new frames are amazing.. So many to choose from.. Maisie loves all the staff.. She has additional needs and the staff are so patient with her! Niki knows Maisie so well and goes above and beyond to help her with the whole process… Today she picked up her new glasses which look amazing.. We had her lenses thinned and anti glare.. The difference is unbelievable! We love them.. Thank You xx

Visited the opticians today with my five year old son with additional needs this lovely man at this opticians made my day my son screams most of the time he done it right the way through my eye test I felt like I wanted to run away as alot of times people don't understand my son and we leave alot of places this man at the opticians really is one of the nicest people I have ever come across if you see this thank you again your understanding and kindness had me with tears in my eyes
