Arrived about an hour ago. Last minute decision to stop on our way back home. Spoke to a lovely guy over the phone, nobody at reception at it is quite late in the day, but advised us to pitch up and pay in the morning, fabulous! Large exercise area for dogs, lovely view from our pitch and very easy access from the motorway. We would definitely stay here again on future travels to or from the north.

Excellent site for motorhomes. Good pitch size, friendly and helpful staff with good local knowledge. Facilities clean and functional, location close to local amenities and the hotel next door does lovely food. Definitely would stop again.

We called ahead to see if there was any space. We were welcomed by a very friendly owner. We understand that they have only had the campsite a little while and making big changes to it. We had everything we needed. Showers that were hot and the room was warm. Theres also a toilet in the shower room. These showers are Free not as stated on Park4night at £1. We highly recommend and would definitely use again. If you want to see it pop over to Youtube to GatersOnTour where we have done a short.

We have a holiday lodge on this site and although we loved the friendly atmosphere of this site when we bought our caravan the cosmetic differences the new owners have made are incredible. They have very quickly got to work upgrading the site. Lovely new lamp posts, tarmacking some of the roads and an impressive entrance to the site with new hard landscaping. We look forward to all the other projects they have in mind.

We were on a road trip to Ireland and needed somewhere to stay last minute to wait out the storm! Stumbled across this place on a camping app and so glad we did !!! It was so easy to find and the pitches for campers are great. Lots of electric hookups and loads of waste and water points. The toilets and showers were clean every time we went in and they actually had loo roll !! Will definitely come back if we are ever doing this drive again !

We travel the 400 miles between the Midlands and the Highlands as often as we can. Having just spent a superb few days in the snowy north we looked for a site that would break the journey home. We normally use the club sites at Moffat or Melrose but their standards are slipping and prices rising, so we looked for an independent alternative that was open all year. Cressfield Caravan Park fitted the bill with its excellent location just off the M74 at Ecclefechan. Although the very poor January weather didn't show the site at its best, the new owners certainly seem to be making positive changes, have ambitious plans and were most welcoming and helpful. Suited our needs perfectly.

What an outstanding site this is. We are staying here in our motor home. The site is clean, spacious, design layout is excellent and extremely well positioned. There are plenty of water and waste points. The pitch size is great with a large gravel area. There is a large area for exercising our dog. I cannot recommend this park enough -definitely 5 stars. Thanks to David for his help with us staying. Will definitely be using this park regularly. Vanessa, Gordon and Lola 🐾

We come every year to the campsite and we're absolutely amazed at the changes that have been made. The site entrance has two impressive stags to greet you on a Highland slope. Then as you drive onto the site, all the roads have been tarmacked and are really smooth. Plus they now have beautiful victorian style lamp posts which align the new roads and thats very important when navigating a long caravan. The transformation is incredible.I am so looking forward to staying on the newly upgraded site because the scenic views and peaceful feel are important to us.

We moved here six years ago and since the new owners took over in October there has been a massive improvement. We now have a lovely new road on the residential side. The entrance is looking more presentable and lovely brass Victorian style street lamps are in place along side two stag's work is still on going on the rest of the site.

Wow what a huge difference new Cressfield Park Owners are making. Cressfield Park is quickly making great steps towards being the site it was before it was run down and let go by previous people The new owners have laid new tarmac roads, installed lovely lights, a security gate is on order and they are generally tidying the site up. Fantastic job, the difference is amazing and great to see - well done David, Asa and staff thank you. Faith restored!

We were seeking a quick night stop and were grateful to find Cressfield. The new owner was so friendly and polite on the phone. While it’s missing a few amenities for a caravan park, it will be receiving an upgrade shortly. It has beautiful wooded surrounds and was quite pretty. Thanks for the stop!

Nou wat is dit een tegenvaller We zijn bijna aan het einde van onze vakantie, en zo slechte een camping niet tegengekomen. Afwassen lukt niet geen kraan die het doet en zo vies De douche blijkt zo van de bouw af te komen, warm water, kan mijn handen er niet eens mee wassen En dit alles voor 30£ Nooit kom ik hier weer
