My second mother lived at this facility for nearly four years, and I’m deeply grateful for the exceptional care she received until her passing. As a deaf individual, she was met with staff who took the time to learn basic sign language, ensuring clear and respectful communication. This dedication highlights their commitment to supporting residents with diverse needs. She had a vibrant personality and could be quick-tempered, often keeping staff on their toes! Yet they handled her with remarkable patience, professionalism, and a touch of humor. They knew when to offer space or extend kindness, demonstrating rare emotional intelligence that brought her comfort and dignity. The long-term presence of many staff members fostered a sense of trust and continuity. Their genuine care and ability to build meaningful relationships with residents made us feel like family, setting this facility apart. Nestled in a peaceful, low-traffic area, the facility provides a serene, welcoming environment. It was consistently clean, safe, and well-maintained, giving me complete confidence in its hygiene and security. They go above and beyond in meaningful ways: - They collaborate with families to ensure care is affordable, with transparent billing and no pressure. (Remember, communications are very important, they will help you). - Monthly on-site doctor visits minimize the need for external appointments, offering convenient opportunities for family time. - Engaging monthly activities and heartfelt holiday celebrations, including Christmas gifts, brought joy even to my tough-acting second mother. - Families are warmly encouraged to stay involved, creating a true sense of community. A special thanks to Jawad, who oversees multiple homes, for his unwavering support. He’s a true asset to the company, and the entire team for making me feel like part of the family. This isn’t just care, it’s compassion, connection, and peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone seeking a loving home for their loved ones. CRcare far exceeded my expectations! Jerry and his crew are super professional and caring. One expects medicines to be given on time and the place to be clean, and those things were definitely true. But I was amazed at the level of personal care. My mom felt like a friend was with her at all times. I recommend CRcare completely!

I have worked with this ALF and the manager and staff were very friendly. They keep the place very clean and works with residents nicely. Staff can also follow through instructions from clinicians.

I am Michael McNally. My brother has passed and was a resident at CR care in Laurel. From the very beginning my brother was treated with kindness and respect. Jerry the manager took a personnel interest in every resident. I had no trouble in reaching him to answer questions about my brother. As my brother progressed the Care employees were quick to adjust to his needs. They treated my brother like a member of their family with love and understanding. Whenever I visited my brother I was greeted with smiling faces. I look at my choice of CR Care as a blessing. That is where I want to go when it is my time.

My father spent his last couple of years under the care of the wonderful staff at CR Care Assisted Living. I was torn in making that difficult decision to put my father under someone else's care. Now having lived through it, I feel this should have been an easy decision and am incredibly greatful for the advice and attention provided by the CR Care team. My dad enjoyed a small community of people with whom, he became friends. He had his own room and was given 24x7 care. He used to call his caregivers, his "angels". They demonstrated assertive compassion as my dad didn't always understand why he needed to do certain things, but when his "angels" told him it was necessary, he would comply, happily. There will always be a special place in my heart for those ladies.

They provide home-cooked meals and attentive care make it feel like home. The management is responsive, and the environment is warm and inviting, unlike larger, institutional settings. CR Care in Laurel took great care of my father. My dad entered the facility with Altzheimers, he began to wander all night long and could not be cared for at home any longer. We visited several places in Laurel but they felt cold and were not homey at all. My step mother and I could not see ourselves putting my dad in these institutional environments. We took a tour of one of CR Care's homes and they were literally home! They are real houses in residential neighborhoods. The residents are in real homes. The staff stays there with the residents 24/7. They cook in a kitchen making regular meals for the residents. You walk in and smell real food ( not medicine and cleaning products like institutional places). After touring one home we came back and saw two more. They were all homey and we knew my dad would be well cared for. The staff was sweet and actually loving and caring with my dad. They kept us well informed with anything going on with dad. My dad passed away there. The staff was crying with us as they had all bonded with him in the 8 months they cared for him . They had many stories to tell us of things dad did that had them laughing (even though he was not always the easiest to get along with). The price was very reasonable and I would encourage anyone to check CR homes out. They include laundry ( done there daily) and three meals a day. Management is easily accessible and will talk to you about any concerns you have while your loved one is there.

This is an excellent Assisted Living facility, the caregivers are very nice and professional, they take care of the residents very well, show them respect and attends to their individual needs and the staff provides daily home-cooked meals. My brother has been with CR Care since 2020, and I am very pleased with the care that they provide to him. His medications are given on time and the health care that they provide is exceptional. From day one, when I meet Jerry (Manager), who is just awesome, professional, but yet makes you feel like you are family gave me a tour of the facility, introduced the staff, and showed me the monthly meals plan, activities, etc., my brother enjoys living there and when I get him for the day, he makes sure that I get him back to what he calls "Home". Fareh (Manager Assisted) is very attentive to the everyday care and concerns of both the residents and family members. Phone calls are returned the same day as well as answering texts. If any health problems arise or concerns with my brother, Jerry notifies me immediate. I would recommend CR Care of Laurel to anyone who is looking for a home (away-from-home) for their loved one who will receive excellent care.
