Mr. Rodriguez, we appreciate that you acknowledged our team provided great service and treated you well. However, we do want to provide some additional context regarding the pricing mentioned in your review.

You called Cowboys because your system was running but not cooling. For $129, we dispatched a professional technician to your home who tested the electrical components, inspected the air handler, found the coil and TXV frozen, performed leak testing, and identified multiple leaks in the evaporator coil. The technician also determined that the system warranty had expired.

From there, you were given multiple options not simply quoted “over $7,000 for a coil.” Those options included replacing the evaporator coil, TXV and refrigerant, replacing the air handler for, or considering complete system replacement with a new 10 year warranty. You were free to choose whichever option and company made the most sense for you.

We completely understand that our pricing will not fit every budget, and we certainly do not criticize another company for charging less. There will always be companies that can perform work for less than Cowboys. Price alone, however, is not how we have built our business.

When customers choose Cowboys, they are paying for trained professionals, same day availability when available, proper diagnostic procedures, warranties, insurance, accountability, and a company that has been serving San Antonio since 2007.

Over the years, we have had many customers choose a lower priced option elsewhere and then contact us again years later because they need service and the company that originally performed the work is not available for days or no longer in business. That is not something we wish on any company, nor are we suggesting that will happen in your situation. It simply illustrates why longevity, accountability, and knowing who will be there after the work is completed are part of the value we provide.

We’re glad you were able to find an option that worked better for your budget. We simply believe it is important that anyone reading the review understands the complete scope of what was diagnosed and quoted rather than comparing the cost of a purchased coil and installation alone to the comprehensive options Cowboys provided.
