I found Magnolia Patio and pool during my search for a local pool company to design and build a new custom swimming pool for us. After working with several companies and salesmen I have to say Michael Wick was the real deal. Knowledgeable, professional and pressure free. He's the John Wick of pool salesmen no doubt. He also had the best quote in town. Definitely recommend Magnolia Patio and Pool.

Had a great experience with them. Ben, initial designer, was great at putting my ideas of a custom fireplace and privacy wall into a detailed design, listening to all my ideas with patience. Jose, our construction GC, was excellent. He handled all my change orders to the design with grace and always had open and honest communication with me and the subcontractors. His team was clean and respectful throughout which was important to me with toddlers and livestock on property. Would highly recommend!

Had a great experience with Magnolia Pools and especially with Jose the project manager. Always very professional providing regular project updates. Was available 24-7 to answer any of our questions or concerns, which weren’t many because he was always very intuned with our vision of the project. Would always send pictures of the progress they were making and provided clarity to every part of the project. Provided us with clear and concise deadlines for every part of the project. Me and my wife are extremely happy with it our new patio and the experience provided by Jose and Magnolia Pools.

This is a long overdue and OVER deserved review for David and his team at Magnolia Patio Covers for their design and construction of a 17x26 add on to existing structure at our home in The Woodlands. Throughout the design process, David listened patiently and attentively to our thoughts, needs and dreams and designed a structure to fit all that and more that blends seamlessly into the design of the existing house. The outdoor living space is easily our favorite place to enjoy on the property and (most importantly to us) it looks like it was a part of the house design from day 1. His crews were professional, timely, extremely thorough and clean and the schedule was clearly communicated without any of the delays expected from undertaking a project of this scope. I could not recommend them enough to anyone looking to add an outdoor living space! His quote was competitive with others obtained, but his attention to detail and, more importantly, his alignment with our vision (rather than building something "out of the box") will keep me recommending this company and crew to neighbors and friends alike for years to come.

Emily Shultz is getting a 5 Star review. She was always available to help and did more than what was expected of her. She was friendly and professionally. It was a joy to work with her. Nacho also deserves a 5 Star because he personally took charge of a unsafe patio roof construction and corrected it. Magnolia has not made a lot of money on this project. The reason was initial bad project management, lacking field supervision, measurement errors, and not studying the City of Houston's documents and following it to the letter. When I received feedback from Alumawood as well as the City of Houston that the construction is unsafe, I went back to Magnolia and met with Nacho and Wade. Both of them were prepared to help me and to correct all the errors. Nacho took the leading roll and did the construction over again. The last outstanding step is to get approval for the construction from the City of Houston. Thanks Emily, Nacho, and Magnolia Gert Meij

We had an exceptional experience with Magnolia Pool and Spa from start to finish. They built our pool, spa, and outdoor kitchen, and the entire process was handled with professionalism, attention to detail, and true craftsmanship. Wade was an outstanding project manager —communicative, hands-on, and committed to making sure everything was done right. Michael did an incredible job with the design and project management. He brought our vision to life and kept everything moving smoothly along the way. When we needed to make changes he was very prompt in his response. Emily was phenomenal on the back office side—organized, responsive, and always helpful whenever we had questions. She handled the permit process and took that stress off of us. What really stood out was their integrity. When we had an issue with the landscaping, they addressed it promptly and made it right without hesitation. That level of accountability speaks volumes. If you’re looking for a team that delivers quality work and stands behind what they do, I highly recommend Magnolia Pool and Spa. Our backyard has truly been transformed, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

We had Magnolia install our pool and outdoor kitchen (Mar-Sep 2025). We love the finished project which turned out better than expected, but if we were to do it again we might not hire them. We had problems with our 1st project manager (who was eventually let go from Magnolia). 2nd project manager was too busy to provide the customer care we expected. At one point we thought we had been ghosted by the company. There were several issues with the build (heater not installed correctly, exposed rebar after Gunite, installation of rock on backside of wall, and getting a second coat of paint on the deck) but each and every concern we had was eventually handled and resolved to our satisfaction. This was truly remarkable and so greatly appreciated. Our project took 6 months and the cost was in the low 6-figures. Special thanks to Wade Collier, Senior Production Manager, for stepping in when things initially went south. He restored our trust and confidence in Magnolia when we were genuinely concerned we had made a colossal mistake. Bottomline: We love our new pool but there were challenges with the build that we were not expecting. UPDATE NOV25: Had a minor issue with pool equipment and Magnolia handled it very well. Wade came out to the house the next day and the electrician came out the following day. It ended up being a tripped breaker, but the service provided was greatly appreciated! Outstanding customer support after the project was completed. UPDATE FEB26: Wade came out for the 6 month check up. I really appreciate this guy. It is nice to know they stand behind their work.

I had Magnolia work on plans/pricing for a new patio we were having built. Ultimately I went another direction however I still wanted to take time to leave a review as they were amazing to work with. Shout out to Michael Wick in particular. He was available, made any changes I needed, worked on the price, and his customer service was next level. The decision came down to a minor price difference only although he was still comparable. Highly recommend if you're looking to have any work done.

First time working with a contractor on a big project and my wife and I were overly impressed and satisfied with the quality and professionalism of the company, staff, and subcontractors. Exceeded our expectations and we are thoroughly happy ! Very easy to communicate with the Magnolia staff and all questions were answered in a timely mannered and were great in keeping us informed of the progress and any potential issues. Never was left waiting for an answer Also the app Buildertrend was a tremendous asset for communication. Highly impressed by all the members of the company but especially with Tyler Stampley, Emmanuel Montante, and Emily Schultze. We always felt valued as a customer and all issues were quickly remediated to our satisfaction It was very impressive how all the crews cleaned up at the end of the day and everyday. Everything was well organized and scheduled . Quality of craftsmanship was exceptional . Minimal disruption of our normal daily activities . The project was completed on time and on budget. Tyler and Jason were great to work with. We had many iterations of the project with various covers and such. The final project was to pour 800 sqft of uncovered patio due to HOA restrictions. They were very communicative and helpful throughout the life of the project. The initial set of ideas and renderings that Tyler put together were very helpful in seeing what was possible and how things would look. Great company, great people, highly recommended.

The entire process was well organized, and their whole team was easy to work with. Communication was clear, timelines were well managed, and everything felt professional and stress-free. Our project manager, Emmanuel, was amazing to work with, and our production manager, Wade, was equally great. Both were attentive, knowledgeable, and proactive, making sure every detail was handled properly and the project stayed on track. The patio was built with great care, and the finished space looks beautiful and solid. It has completely transformed our backyard and given us a comfortable area we can enjoy year-round.
