Started out dancing with Liz from Country Fusion several years ago. It was so much fun, I made so many friends along the way, and it’s a great workout too. Liz encouraged me to become a certified Country Fusion instructor! It was an easy and informative course and I built so much confidence along the way. Highly recommend!

I went thru the Country Fusion Instructor training in 2022 at the Country Fusion headquarters in Nashville, TN with Liz Mooney and it has been such a valuable addition to my teaching.
Liz is an amazing instructor and educator (and dancer!) The entire process felt smooth and well organized. I’m someone who can be shy in a roomful of people but Liz made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. The Country Fusion Instructor Certification was exactly what I had hoped for and gave me a strong foundation for blending line dance with a true fitness format.
As a line dance instructor and former Zumba instructor, Country Fusion feels like the perfect mix of both worlds. I get to stay connected to my dance roots while delivering a structured, high energy workout. I also love the back office resources, the dances we have access to and instructional breakdowns. It’s a helpful system which gives me plenty of new dances to pull from when I need to.
I highly recommend this certification to any instructor who wants to combine line dancing and fitness in a fun, professional, and well supported way.

Country Fusion was an absolute blast! I laughed, danced, and learned so much in just one class. The choreography was fun and engaging, and the teaching style made everything click. The vibe was positive, encouraging, and full of great energy. It didn’t feel intimidating at all—just pure fun while actually learning real skills. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great time in Nashville!
Scheduled lessons thru Viator. Arrived to a dark studio with no one there. Owner claimed to Viator that they were there and ready to start lessons at 5 minutes past start time. Our time stamped picture happens to be at 5 minutes past, & again, dark and empty. She states that it is the customers job to give her 10 minutes "grace" on her arrival rather than for her to provide herself "grace" in understanding what time she needs travel to account for any mishaps that might occur - not the paying customer. Her every terse response was implying that it is the customer's job to make accommodations for her business to operate successfully. The customer would have no way of knowing when she might decide to show up or not. How long do you wait at a empty business, hoping it will be worth it? Apparently, the answer is longer than the 27 minutes that we waited!
Hi Kathy, I was waiting for this review. You booked through viator, you arrived at the time of the reservation. Correct. Now, I arrived and pulled up at 2:04 seeing you already in your car pulling away. I called and looked up your viator reservation called and text you within minutes, 2:09. After calling viator to get into my account to contact you. You chose not to answer when you were still near the studio. You didn’t respond till 2:25. You could have came to take the lesson. Now there is a sign that states to please give grace of 10min. This is because of emergencies and Nashville traffic has gotten really bad. We come in for the privates. We don’t live at the studio. Now you say how long do you wait for a dark studio, you were in your car by 2:04, cause I saw you. You didn’t call me, you didn’t email me, I was rushing to get there because of an accident that happened after getting my daughter from school. All you had to do was read the sign with patience and grace, and I would have been there or simply called or text me. I was looking forward to giving you your lesson. Also, the lesson would have been worth it. Anyone that has actually taken the lesson with me which I have been dancing since the age of 2 and I have been teaching my whole life, has had a wonderful experience. Bad reviews are only from those that have never met me nor walked into my studio who also had no patience nor understanding. I’m sorry this was not a better experience and I do wish you took your lesson. Would have been something you would have had forever!

We came to Tennessee for a couple days before a friend's wedding. We hoped to get a dance lesson before the wedding. Elizabeth got us in for an individual lesson on extremely sort notice. We have taken various dance classes and she is the best teacher we have had. We are ready to try out our 2-Step at a wedding in 2 days. Next time we are here (we are from Ohio) we are going to take another lesson or two!

Extremely disappointing customer service. I booked this class well in advance for our bachelorette trip, only to receive a call from the owner saying no one on her team recorded our reservation time. Instead of honoring what we booked, she tried to push us to a different time. I explained we already had other reservations and couldn’t switch, so I asked if we could move it to the next day. She refused, saying it was her birthday and she didn’t want to work. When I then requested a refund (since the error was entirely on their end), she denied it, claiming we were 30 minutes past the cancellation window.
So because her staff failed to record our booking, we were left without the class we planned, no alternative option, and no refund. Absolutely unacceptable. Be warned—do not prepay.
9/19/25 Update to my review after reading her response:
Nothing in the owner’s response is accurate. Yes, the booking was initially made through the Bach app—but what she left out is that Laney also called directly after booking, because she had accidentally selected Friday instead of Saturday. This was booked months in advance. On that call, the lady confirmed we were scheduled for Saturday at 10 AM. At no point did she tell us we also needed to go back into the Bach app and make changes there. If she had, we absolutely would have.
So the real question is: whose responsibility is it on their end when a direct phone call is made and the correction isn’t written down? That’s not an app problem—that’s a business problem.
To claim we “blackmailed” her is completely false. We asked for a refund when she refused to accommodate us at the time we had confirmed months prior. Instead of owning the mistake, she spent the call lecturing us that it was the app’s fault, refused a refund, and was unwilling to help until after we left a review. Only then did she suddenly “find” an instructor and offer 10 AM.
But even that came with conditions—she told us we had to remove our review immediately or she would no longer accommodate us. She went on about how this was her livelihood, how she feeds her family, and gave us one minute to take it down or else. That’s not customer service—that’s manipulation.
This was a bachelorette weekend with events already planned back-to-back. We simply didn’t have other times available, which is why the original confirmation was so important. We declined her last-minute offer because, by then, she had been so hateful and hostile over the phone that we no longer felt comfortable showing up.
The bottom line: if a business confirms a booking directly, months in advance, and later refuses to honor it or refund it, the fault does not lie with the customer. What should have happened is simple—a refund should have been offered when they admitted they couldn’t accommodate us, instead of lectures, blame-shifting, and intimidation.
The booking was made from Bach app like explained. You needed to also switch your booking time with them. The booking did not come through me. I was here at 10am to teach you. Called at 10:20am to see where you girls were. The woman said it’s tomorrow, the Bach app still had today. Like stated originally you must change through the original booking process. That’s who you paid. Not me. Then I offered to still teach you tomorrow but at 11:15am. Then you wrote this review. You asked for Sunday and I’m sorry that myself having a day off with my family for my birthday was a problem. I also if I can upload pictures on here have the email I sent on Tuesday to Laney confirming Friday at 10am(today). With no reply. Then a text sent to me 15min ago blackmailing me that if I refund you you’ll take down this review. So I am keeping all these records and again tried everything with even my instructor coming in at 10am the day and time you wanted. But you told me you were over it.

AMAZING PLACE AND INSTRUCTOR!!! Always been self conscious of dancing so I never did. But you can’t live in Nashville and not know how. I first met Liz by watching her on the dance floor and immediately recognized the skills she had! I signed up for personal lessons and within days had a new found confidence that I didn’t before! We would learn new moves and then walk to a local dance bar to test the out. I got many compliments and it felt good not to feel so awkward!
She is simply amazing! Knowledgeable, patient, motivational and never made me feel negative in any way as I was learning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I have had a great experience with Liz Mooney led a Country line dancing night a few times at the Garden Social in East Meadow, NY! And she was great! Very nice and easy to follow! I’ve gone back several times! She is alot of fun!
