Getting misty-eyed as a write this. I'm a divorced mother of two and I have the kids for Christmas Eve and Christmas (and I'm hosting Christmas Day). Very happy about this but slightly overwhelmed. The one thing hanging over my head was the kids stockings. For them, the stockings are even more exciting than the big, wrapped presents. The thought of rifling through all the junk on Amazon or fighting the crowds at Target was daunting. Enter Astrid, the owner of CouCou, which recently moved from the South End to the hip WinSmith Studios in Norwood. I contacted her and she immediately responded with 'you got it. I'll take pictures of what I gather for each child and you can tell me if I need to make adjustments.'. She's also wrapping each gift and on top of that using one paper for my daughter and another paper for my son. We all shop on Amazon for the convenience but my god, how nice is the personal touch. My daughter (9.5 yrs) and I love to shop at Coucou. Astrid’s warmth, kindness and impeccably curated selection of clothing, accessories and toys is unmatched. The new location at Winsmith Mill in Norwood is beautiful and welcoming. Astrid, Sasha and Margarita are always beyond helpful when putting together an outfit or selecting the perfect gift. Plus, my daughter loves to search for Zucchini, a little toy mouse, to redeem a prize every time she visits! It is more than a store, it is an experience and we are lucky to have Coucou so close to home.

Visiting CouCou's new location at the Winsmith Mill Market in Norwood was a delightful experience. Beautiful offerings on display and I was directed to view even more apparel and toys available on the website. Astrid, the owner, picked out the perfect gift for my 3 year old niece. I feel like I’m in Europe every time I walk into this sweet spot - it is my favorite in Boston. It is full to the brim with treasures - the most beautiful children’s clothing and thoughtfully curated selection toys that you can enjoy in your home and make the most magical gifts. CouCou not only has the most fashionable & unique kid’s clothes, but also has the best customer service online (as I am located in CA, so I can't even imagine how amazing they are in person!)
Have questions about your order? They are quick to respond in the chat box or via email. Even Astrid, the owner, has personally helped me with silly questions like what shoe size to order.
Don't even get me started on their packaging! It is SO cute!! So I always know my friends are going to be surprised when they get my gift in the mail.
I feel like family every time I shop here, & I love feeling confident that my friends will love their gift!
