I strongly advise avoiding this coop
I really wanted to like this chicken coop, but it’s been nothing but problems from day one. The quality is genuinely terrible.
The holes for the wheel fixtures weren’t big enough, so I had to modify them myself just to get the wheels on.
The wire mesh was stapled right across the pre-drilled holes, meaning I had to snip through the wire to insert the bolts.
The wood screws for the lid hinge were tiny and kept pulling straight out of the wood. I had to replace them with larger screws.
The lid itself snapped off in the wind, leaving my hens terrified and unprotected.
Wood around the nesting boxes has already snapped.
The interior wood has gone mouldy, even though I clean and dry the coop every week.
Worst of all, the wood isn’t properly treated, so it doesn’t weather well at all. This coop simply isn’t built to last.
Honestly, save yourself the stress. Save up a bit more and buy an Omlet. I wish I had done that from the start instead of wasting money on this.

Fantastic company and customer service!
A really great company. We ordered our rabbit hutch on Monday night and it arrived mid day Wednesday which was fantastic. Unfortunately there were a couple of issues with the product, so I emailed across. I was highly impressed to get a response within two hours that resolved this matter. The company went above and beyond to rectify the issue. The customer service was exemplary - I would definitely recommend.

Good quality product.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality. Everything fitted together accurately and went together smoothly without any issues. The materials and finish give a good impression of care and precision in manufacturing. If I were to offer one small criticism, it would be that the supplied hasp latches feel a little on the lightweight side. That’s purely a personal observation, as they are functioning perfectly well and appear to be up to the task. However, for my own peace of mind and preference for something a bit more robust, I’ll likely replace them with sturdier versions in the near future.
BTW, the hens seem to love it!

XL COTTAGE CHICKEN COOP
Arrived promptly by courier in 2 flat packs. Easy to assemble, all the bits and pieces were in the pack but the instructions are not vey clear. Managed to assemble in less than an hour and it looks just like the picture on the website. Would definitely recommend getting the Treated Wood Model. Overall, excellent value for the money!

Amazing Product and Delivery - XL Sunshine 6-8 Birds Chicken Coop
Arrived on time, paid for Saturday delivery and was with me at 8am that morning . Coop was really easy to put together and only took about 30 minutes. I was worried after I did read a few reviews however amazing product and service all round.

Poor quality hutch, fell apart after less than 3 months, refusing refund
Ordered the Shadow XL hutch in July and less than three months later, the removable tray has started to fall apart.
Contacted customer services team who first agreed to a refund via a phone call, then followed up by email 10 mins later and told me it was out of warranty and they would not give me a refund.
The hutch is not fit for purpose and will not last a reasonable length of time.

Good coop
Good looking coop with a great functional design. I was expecting next day delivery, but it turned out to be 2 working days. The coop was straightforward to construct, following the instructions. The wooden parts are soft and light, but the whole thing seems pretty sturdy. The final ridge is comprised of two parts of wood, so I might get some felt to cover over that. I'll be interested to see how it withstands the test of time, ie how well it will weather.
Extremely poor quality, not fit for purpose
I ordered the CLASSIC XL GREY 2 TIER RABBIT HUTCH and the build quality is shocking, never purchased a product that’s built so poorly and was falling apart as I put it together. Feels like it’s made of balsa wood, and the rabbits have eaten through the wood in a two days (see pic). Paid extra for fox proof wire but a fox could easily get through the wood so no point paying for strong wire. It’s so weak I’ve had to put the hutch in the garage, it’s not safe to leave the rabbits in it outside.

I want to say I had no problems with this company fast shipping and well made cage for my guinea pigs I have the thumper clear cage in my front room could never have my babies outside they love the room and best part is the sleeping quarters where they can feel safe from my curious cats was easy to build and was up in a couple of hours five star service and product
