Romina's cooking class has been a highlight of our trip. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and generous during our class. While making 2 different kinds of pasta she explained techniques, importance of ingredients and processes all while making sure we were having fun and our wine glasses were full. We enjoyed an appetizer, pasta, and desert, all of which were amazing. Honestly some of the best food we've had since we've been here. We would absolutely book another class with her again!
BEST COOKING CLASS IN ROME!!!!! Everything about this experience was perfect. The location was close to the Vatican, so it’s a great activity to add on to the day you tour that part of the city. The actual spot is a dream - it’s this beautiful, unique kitchen space that’s a complete Italian kitchen vibe. Every nook and cranny was so cute and curated. The host was sick and she had her assistant Ginevra host us, and we loved her so much! She was very knowledgeable and kind and easy to get along with. She made the experience a 10/10. The actual class was very fun and hands on and we really feel like we learned a lot about making pasta and the sauces!! Champagne and wine and snacks were flowing the entire time. And then it came to actually eating the food, and wow it was incredible!! Some of the best food we had the entire trip. Thank you Romina & Ginevra!! :)
If you’re looking for a truly authentic cooking experience in Rome, Romina’s pasta-making class is an absolute gem. From the moment you step into her charming, homelike kitchen, you feel less like a tourist and more like a welcomed friend in an Italian home.
Romina has created something special with her women-owned and women-taught class. There’s a warmth and ease to the entire experience that reflects both her personality and her passion for Italian cooking. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting — the kind of cozy kitchen where stories are shared, flour dusts the countertops, and laughter fills the room.
This is not a demonstration where you simply watch. It’s fully hands-on. Romina guides you through every step with patience and deep knowledge, explaining the traditions behind the techniques and ingredients. She has that rare gift of teaching in a way that feels effortless and fun while still being incredibly informative. You leave not only knowing how to make fresh pasta from scratch, but understanding why things are done a certain way.
And of course — the food. Absolutely delicious. There’s nothing quite like sitting down to enjoy pasta you’ve rolled and shaped yourself under the guidance of a true Italian chef. She went above and beyond to sing happy birthday to my mother - in Italian!
If you want a warm, authentic Italian culinary experience led by a passionate woman chef in a welcoming home kitchen, Romina’s class is unforgettable. It’s not just a cooking lesson — it’s a memory you’ll carry (and recreate) long after you leave Italy.

In short: if you are considering this class, definitely book!! In long: This was a wonderful experience and Romina made it more special than we could have expected or wished. Not only did we get to enjoy four traditional dishes and wonderful local wine, but we also got to learn special techniques and tips to make pasta and sauces that we can remake the pasta recipes. I cannot recommend this more. Romina was such a knowledgeable and gracious host immediately connecting the group and leading each phase of creation with expertise. Thank you again 💖💖💖💖 5 stars is not enough!
Such a fantastic experience! My girlfriend and I had a blast learning how to make both filled and classic pasta. Everything was explained so clearly, and the final meal was absolutely fabulous. To top it off, the group was so much fun to hang out with. Highly recommend!

Grazie for your beautiful review Frantisek! 💛🍝🇮🇹🧑🍳
We had our pasta-making class with Romina last night and it was truly unforgettable. Because it’s November and low season, it ended up being just my 16-year-old son and me, yet she never considered canceling. She welcomed us with the same energy, warmth, and generosity you would expect if she were teaching a full class of eight. That alone speaks volumes about her professionalism and passion.
Romina is an exceptional cook, but even more, she’s a gifted and patient teacher. She showed us how to make fettuccine and ravioli in different shapes, explained technique clearly, and taught us about flour types, texture, and how to feel the dough. She shared the secrets her grandmother passed down, how to roll the dough, handle it gently, adjust cooking temperatures, and create a beautiful, balanced sauce. It felt like being welcomed into a tradition, not just a class.
The experience was elevated yet authentic. She greeted us with aperitivo, then antipasto - bruschetta three ways - and later served our handmade pasta with two delicious sauces. We finished with her homemade tiramisu, and we can honestly say it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had.
Her cooking studio is just a short walk from St. Peter’s, and the setting is magical, you pass through a cozy private library and enter a beautiful kitchen where everything feels personal and thoughtfully prepared.
Romina knows when to teach, when to guide, and when to give space so you can enjoy the meal together at the beautifully set table.
We left feeling nourished, happy, and deeply grateful for the experience. We even received beautifully designed recipe cards, each one thoughtfully laid out so we can recreate everything at home, a perfect touch that keeps the experience alive long after the evening ends.
I have taken cooking classes before, but Romina is by far the best. When in Rome, do not miss this. Highly, highly recommended.
