I have been with Conway for a few years now, and they have always been exceptional from the front desk to the hygienists (thanks Kathy!) to the dentists. I had to step away last year for some specialty work and got roped in by that office for regular dental care. How? Good question. Not only did that office overcharge, but they missed the start of a cavity that could have been taken care of (that Conway Oaks had already marked as a watch over a year ago - if only I had stayed!). Don’t be swayed by other offices telling you that you need a “deep clean” or a root canal before you really need one. I would have been paying over $2000 out of pocket. Honest Conway Oaks who does everything well, right, gently, and with great care will do only what I NEED next week for $80 out of pocket. Don’t go anywhere else!!

Finding this practice was a complete breath of fresh air and a blessing. After dealing with severe dental anxiety caused by high-pressure corporate offices, Dr. Lyman and the entire staff completely transformed my experience and helped me make real progress in my dental health. Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. From the start, scheduling was effortless, and the front desk set the tone, warm, welcoming, and remarkably clear about billing. Hardly any wait. They walk you through every charge upfront, explain any adjustments before anything is done, and never sneak surprise fees onto your insurance. They actively look out for your wallet, even comparing whether billing your insurance or using an in-house special saves you more money initially and over the long haul. There is no rush. Every concern is addressed and they don’t mind breaking things down from a technical standpoint if asked. The hygienists bring decades of experience (over 40 years), taking the time to patiently explain X-rays and detail every step of the cleaning, along with plenty of samples to take home. After a previous chain tried pushing expensive, unnecessary, and risky procedures, Dr. Lyman gave me honest, straightforward assessments. If a treatment isn't needed, they flat out tell you with ease and explain why. If there is an alternative more sensible route- they mention it and are honest about level of urgency instead of inducing panic. The office is spotless, the team is personable and genuinely caring, and the pricing was far more affordable than I expected. If you have dental anxiety or are tired of being treated like a sales quota at corporate dental mills, come to Dr. Lyman. This is how patient-centered healthcare should be. Exactly what I prayed for and to find scripture there my first visit (when I needed comfort!) gave me even more assurance.

I’ve been going to Conway Oaks Dental for my cleanings, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I receive. Claudia is always wonderful—professional, gentle, thorough, and genuinely pleasant. My cleanings usually take about 45 minutes, and she always makes the experience comfortable and easy. Honestly, I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t miss my dental appointments anymore! I really appreciate having a dental team that makes regular cleanings something I actually look forward to. My first experience at this practice was a good one. I was leery of another dentist's evaluation of a suggested treatment so made an appt here for a second opinion. I'm pleased with not only the thorough explanation they gave me that the first dentist did not that I am going to move my dental business to Conway Oaks.

A Very Disappointing Experience My experience with this dental clinic was very disappointing. From the beginning, I had problems with the information I was given regarding prices and insurance coverage. The costs I was initially told were not the same as what I was later told I had to pay. This made me feel that the pricing and insurance information was not communicated clearly or transparently. The customer service at the front desk was also very disappointing. I expected professional, respectful, and clear communication, especially when discussing treatment costs and insurance coverage. Instead, the information was confusing, and I had to repeatedly ask questions to get clear answers. I believe a dental clinic should be transparent with its patients, especially when it comes to money, insurance, and treatment costs. I strongly recommend asking for a complete written breakdown of all charges and confirming directly with your insurance company what is actually covered before agreeing to any treatment. Based on my experience, I was not satisfied with the way this clinic handled pricing, insurance information, or customer service.

I chose this dental office because the photos made it look welcoming and calming. I booked an appointment for a cleaning and took time off work to go. When I arrived, I was told they could only do an examination that day. I explained that I had come specifically to have my teeth cleaned, but no cleaning was performed. They took X-rays and photos instead. Afterward, I had to ask repeatedly for copies of my X-rays and photos. I was then sent a letter saying I owed $160 for the photos. I was not told about that charge during my visit or by email beforehand. I left frustrated by the lack of clear communication about what would happen at my appointment and what I would be charged. I still did not receive the cleaning I booked, I nobly can make a complaint.
