I decided to book an hour of cold plunge and infrared sauna time after the Chicago Marathon. It turned out to be a great decision. Just what I needed. Staff was great (Tanya was super welcoming) and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Contrast will be a must visit the next time I’m back in Chicago.

First and foremost I want to say I will 10/10 recommend this place to anyone. The Hot and Cold Therapy is amazing. I’m giving this place 3 stars due the odor maintenance. The actual establishment was very nice and well put together. The private rooms were decently sized. My biggest issue was the overall smell once you get started. The towels smell like had been used and dried and not thoroughly washed. It was extremely unpleasant and tough to sit through. I am a frequent sauna user at huge 24hr commercial gym and the saunas don’t have that type of odor. Just a message to the owner or manager; Please use a hotel grade laundry detergent and maybe take 2 or three times a week to thoroughly clean the plunge tubs and saunas. Thank you for the Contrast Experience.

Patrick - thanks for your feedback. We take our facility cleanliness very seriously and wash towels and space at a commercial grade daily. That said, we will check to see what transpired here and thanks for posting us. Hope you otherwise had a good experience and hope to see you back

Great establishment for people who have constant soreness. Always have back pain from work, sitting for 12+ hours a day after working out just tightens everything up so terribly. Was going to a chiropractor for a while, but it was just so expensive. This place has been incredible, the owners Braxton and Doug are great. Great community they got going here. 10/10 would absolutely recommend coming. Great for recovery, great for your skin, and great for mental clarity.

Contrast has been a great experience for me both mentally and physically! The staff here are very supportive, friendly and helpful with the overall experience of sauna and cold plunging. I personally love the community room which gives a chance to meet new people and experience the sauna/plunge process with friends

After a night of ripping Malört shots, I stumbled upon this place and it absolutely delivered. The staff is charming, and the facilility is 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in need of recovery after a workout or night out.

Great staff, great prices. Perfect for a group if you call ahead. Community room was super fun, the saunas are hot and the cold plunge tanks each can fit two people at a time.

It was my first cold plunge/ sauna experience, and I really felt refreshed and calm / motivated/recharged after the session. Brax was very kind and easy to talk to as well. I am visiting from New York and I wish NYC had something like this and hope Brax can open a branch there soon. NYC does have like wellness-focused ice baths which is marked up so expensive in various formats but nothing like this down to earth /simple/yet powerful place like Contrast. Highly recommend.

Good vibes, helpful/friendly staff, extremely clean, and easy to book time slots. They have everything you need to be able to time out sauna and cold plunge intervals - literally the perfect space or recovery and relaxation. Overall, a surprisingly great experience!
