I was so grateful to have found Dr. Tru when I did. When my Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and I was looking for someone to look at what's under the surface of the condition, I felt hope for the first time that someone was willing to look with me and guide me through supplements, labs and other factors to navigate the journey.
Before Dr. Tru, I didn't know what Functional Medicine was or that there are doctors out there who are trained to look at the underlying cause of disease states. Conscious Medicine is the first Functional Medicine practice I have ever been to, and what a difference! Dr. Truc is not just another doctor who looks at your symptoms and prescribes a pill. She took the time to listen, reviewed my health history, and then explained my options. She explained, based on my blood work why I had the symptoms, what was causing them, and the options for improvement. After completing the suggested protocol, I felt better than I have in a long time. I didn't just feel like another patient, but I felt Dr. Truc really cared about me as a person. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like this one was worth it. I had been going in circles with different doctors and never really got clear answers.
Came across Conscious Medicine and decided to give it a shot, and honestly, it’s been a completely different experience. Dr. Truc actually listens and doesn’t rush you out the door. She asks a lot of questions and really tries to understand what’s going on instead of just prescribing something quickly.
It feels more like they’re trying to fix the actual problem rather than just manage symptoms. Still early in my journey, but I already feel like I’m finally on the right track.
If you’re around Atlanta and frustrated with the usual healthcare system, I’d say it’s definitely worth checking them out.

I am not someone who typically leaves reviews, which is why this one matters—my experience with Dr. Truc has been truly extraordinary and life-changing.
Before seeing her, I was told my labs would likely never return to normal and that I should focus on just not getting worse. I had thyroid issues, non alcoholic fatty liver issues, chronic Urinary tract infections. After years of chemical exposure in my profession, my body was in terrible condition, my symptoms were overwhelming, and my labs were all over the place.

I’ve taken many months before posting this so it comes from reflection, not emotion. I became a patient of Dr. Tru at Conscious Medicine starting in June 2024 after being diagnosed with liver cirrhosis at age 27. While some symptoms like fatigue and headaches improved temporarily during treatment, follow-up imaging showed no change in liver scarring, and symptoms quickly returned after stopping supplements in June 2025.
I also had ethical concerns about how my case was presented professionally without clear confirmation of imaging changes and her claims of healing cirrhosis based on symptom improvement while I was still on the protocol. Ultimately, I spent about $15k for short-term symptom relief without lasting resolution, and there was no due diligence on her end in confirming whether the cirrhosis was actually reversed. Liver doctors have since confirmed scans remain the same. This alone is a massive ethical consideration. Nobody should expect physicians to reverse something as complex as cirrhosis, but patients do deserve honest, transparent communication grounded in ethical responsibility and medical moral code. If there was uncertainty about interpreting imaging, I believe consultation with appropriate specialists would have been the most responsible approach.
This isn’t meant to harm anyone, but to encourage prospective patients to thoroughly research, ask questions, and make fully informed decisions about their care. You deserve that before spending massive amounts of money with whoever you choose to work with.
I give this a 2-star rating because the supplements did help with symptoms. However, a 1-star would be more appropriate given the lack of proper medical oversight and transparency.
