From the very beginning of the remortgage process, Ms. Poorna was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. She found me an excellent mortgage deal with a lender that perfectly suited my needs, saving me both time and money. What really stood out was her outstanding communication. She responded to my emails and messages extremely quickly, often outside of normal working hours, and was always available to answer questions and provide reassurance. I paid £798 for mortgage advisory services and SPV company setup. Anil Patel, who acts as a broker under the Connect Mortgages network, handled my case. I provided the requested documents in December 2025 and expected progress with my application. However, after more than three months, I did not receive a mortgage illustration, lender options, or a decision in principle, and the SPV company was not set up. I followed up multiple times but did not receive a clear outcome, and my request for a refund was refused. I have since raised a complaint with the compliance team and also proceeded with a Small Claims Court application to recover the payment. This review reflects my personal experience.
