It was unfortunate that I met such wonderful people under such sad circumstances. However, I am blessed and fortunate to have made their acquaintance. Losing one of our fur babies is never easy, but certainly, both Alan and Jim did everything in their putter to ease our pain and to make the process as seamless as possible. I wish more people knew about Aquamation as an alternative to cremation. It’s so much better for the environment and I think it is much more of a humane alternative. My family and I are more than satisfied with the services that Compassionate Care provided. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of such essential services.
Literally, I’m crying while writing this. I just picked up Prada today, and while driving, it finally sank in that she’s really gone. I was devastated.
Prada was one of our babies, sweet, loving, clingy, and so playful. We didn’t realize she was already struggling with her heart. It all happened so fast… in the blink of an eye, she was gone. That’s what makes it even more painful.
Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation was truly amazing during this difficult time. Mr. Alan was incredibly kind and accommodating. Even on a Sunday, he personally answered my call and took care of everything Prada needed. I met him later that night, right after his family dinner, and he patiently explained everything to me.
Seeing Prada again… her eyes closed, looking so peaceful, like she was just sleeping, it broke my heart, but also gave me comfort.
I’m very grateful for the care, the urn, and the constant communication from Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation. I highly recommend them to anyone who has lost a beloved pet.
Run free, my baby Prada. No more pain, no more suffering, just endless fields to run and play. You will forever live in our hearts and in every beautiful memory we shared. 🐾💔
Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation was recommended to me by Paws at Peace. I am very happy that I decided upon Compassionate Care. They handled the entire process with much care and when Buddy was returned home the gentleman, Mike, was very sympathetic and comforting. I highly recommend both Paws at Peace and Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation when the heartbreaking day arrives. They seem to work hand-in-hand so well in easing some of the sorrow we, as animal lovers, endure.
When my daughter lost her beloved Bearded Dragon, Jeffy, who she had for 10 years, we weren't sure where to turn. Compassionate Care was very professional, compassionate, and empathetic. They informed us in detail of the gentle process of Aquamation and made us feel very comfortable that they would take special care of Jeffy. We got Jeffy back in a timely fashion and the price was more than reasonable.
If I could give 100 stars, I would.
When my sweet little Luke was taken from me far too soon, my heart was completely broken. The thought of traditional cremation felt overwhelming and too painful to bear. While searching for other options, I came across Compassionate Care Aquamation, and I immediately felt comforted by the idea of a more gentle and environmentally friendly way to lay our loved ones to rest.
From the very first phone call with Alan, I knew I had found the right place. In one of the most painful moments of my life, he spoke with such kindness, patience, and understanding. He took the time to explain every step of the process and answered all of my questions thoroughly. No matter how many times I called or texted, he was always responsive and compassionate.
When Mike came to our home to pick Luke up, he treated him with such tenderness and respect. He patiently waited while we said our final goodbyes and handled Luke with a level of care that meant the world to us in that moment.
When we returned to pick up Luke’s cremains, Jim was equally kind and compassionate. The way he handed him back to us was done with such dignity and empathy that it truly touched our hearts.
Losing a beloved companion is one of the most painful experiences a family can go through. The team at Compassionate Care helped carry some of that weight for us. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion made an unbearable moment just a little bit easier.
We will forever be grateful to Alan and his team for treating Luke — and our grief — with such care. I cannot recommend Compassionate Care Aquamation highly enough.
I would give 10 stars if i could!
I reached out to several places prior for pick up and cremation of our Bordeaux, Hana in Brooklyn.
I heard outlandish quotes and some super insensitive "sorry for your loss, we charge $$$".
Then I emailed Compassion Care! Alan called me and was genuine in his condolences. He was super understanding and explained the process start to finish. Pricing was clear; no hidden surprises. Once paperwork was complete, there was someone en route within 30 minutes.
Made things so easy in such a difficult time.
When Enrico arrived, he was just as kind and helpful. Explained how everything would go and the process was smoother than i could have ever hoped for.
Looking forward to receiving Hana's ashes soon.
There's a reason Compassionate Care gets 5 stars!
I picked compassionate care after reading reviews, it didnt disappoint. I had a great smooth experience from initial phone call and visit with Alan. I get all the negative reviews saying they only care about money, however I didnt feel that way at all. It's a business, besides showing empathy, they have to explain the details and process of aquamation, and its really your choice to purchase the paw print set etc. I purchased a beautiful pink urn for my dog Candy. Picked her up a few days ago ( didnt get the gentleman's name) but I could tell he truly love pets, and understand how difficult it is during this time. I already recommended compassionate care to a few friends. Thank you again for everything! 🌈
When I lost my sweet Louie I was heartbroken and didn't know what to do. Compassionate Care was both extremely professional and filled with empathy during the whole process. The price was also much better than expected, even factoring in door to door pickup and dropoff.
For anyone grieving the lost of a loved one, and looking for solutions that come with kindness and care, I cannot recommend Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation enough. Louie is now back home with me, and forever memorialized in a beautiful way.
Sorry to anyone who had a negative experience. I can say that for me, from start to finish, the staff at Compassionate Care were exactly that - compassionate and empathetic. Katy, my sweet cockatiel who I had for almost 15 years, passed away the morning of January 28th. I felt very lost and conflicted about what to do next to preserve her memory, coupled with the grief of losing her. I called and went in that same day. Alan gave a detailed explaination of the aquamation process (which is gentler and better for the environment than cremation), and picked out a pretty pink urn for Katy.
I received a text from a staff member, Jim, for when Katy was ready for pickup a few weeks later. They were very accommodating for pickup since I could only go late after work. Unfortunately, there was construction and heavy traffic in that part of Oceanside which impeded me from accessing the road to get to their office, so I did opt to have Katy delivered via UPS. I finally felt at peace having her back home, and I'm working on setting up an altar for her and my grandma who passed away several years ago. Many thanks to every team member at Compassionate Care that helped through this entire process.
Their name says it all. They are very compassionate as well as passionate about what they do. They are so caring and kind. In such a heartbreaking time they take the time to explain the process, etc. We’ve been there twice now. 🙁. People think, what’s the difference, but when you love your pet you still want them to be treated with dignity. We know they do that. Hope we don’t go back for a long long time…..but with all our rescues, it’s good to know they’re there.
I would just like to say that Alan and Jimmy treated me so welcoming when my Harley passed away I am eternally grateful to them for understanding my needs during my grieving moments for my beloved Harley , and also comforting me during this difficult time in my life I am forever grateful !!! thank you so much Nina ❤️
Exceptional care in tough time
They provided exceptional care during a difficult time, treating our beloved pet with the utmost respect and tenderness. Their calm and professional demeanor brought great comfort, and it truly felt like they cared as much as we did for him. Highly recommend their compassionate services.

Thank you, James, for your kind words. We're deeply touched knowing our care brought comfort during such a challenging time. It's our privilege to support pets and families with the compassion they deserve. Wishing you peace and healing.
When my cat, Cannoli, unexpectedly passed away one morning, the rest of that day was a complete blur. The emergency vet offered fire cremation, but being in the death care industry myself and knowing about aqua cremation, I knew that I wanted for him what I would want for myself - a gentle process that’s better for the earth. I met with Alan, who offered genuine words of comfort upon my arrival. We both stood beside Cannoli, petting him as we made the arrangements - a gesture that stands out in my mind as the best part about that meeting. What a gift.
It has been almost impossible to write this review though attempts were made.. With sincere gratitude for outstanding services I must impress upon every Furbaby Parent to PLEASE look no further than Compassion Care Pet Aquamation Inc., Oceanside, New York to care for your FurFamily..
A Five Star rating just isn't enough in both my experiences. Where the transparent, old-fashioned, client-as-priority service mentality, is near to impossible to find, the level of care and professionalism CCPA provides stands out in neon.
With my two Angels Asia, 22, and Cuna, 20, passing about two years apart, the pain is indescribable and CCPA came through for both my girls. A true White Glove experience.
I delivered Asia myself, since I was still dealing with separation anxiety, but CCPA does offer seamless door-to-door service. The family at CCPA are all and individually the kindest warmest souls. I felt at the time for Cuna, and most recently Asia, that the most thoughtful caring hands were at CCPA, and again, I was correct. From the generosity of the team members taking time to explain every nuance of the Aquamation process, to the variety of available services offered, to the comforting phone exchanges with Alan, to the gentle care afforded to me as a furparent, all the above helped tremendously to ease my anxiety. Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation, are above and beyond accommodating. I had requested a few things and all were executed perfectly. Asia's paw print, lock of hair (I asked for as much as a wig!), to mixing Asia's ashes with her siblings, as well as her AquaLife Fertilizer. I especially wanted Asia's urn plaque inscribed, very specifically, and I must say the outcome was beautiful, truly elegant, thank you again to Chrissy, you are an Artist. When I arrived to recover Asia, Jim had everything organized and ready. I was so thankful for the attention to detail from this team. It is clear that Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation is committed to excellence, providing exceptional services, with the utmost care, and with superior quality control. I mourn everyday but I have tremendous comfort that I gave my furchildren absolute love and care even after they crossed the Rainbow Bridge..
We are deeply grateful for the aquamation services provided. From start to finish, the communication was clear, timely, and incredibly thoughtful. During such a difficult time with our dog Mimi passing, their compassion and understanding truly made a difference. Every step was handled with dignity, respect, and care, which brought our family comfort and peace. It was evident that they genuinely care about the families they serve, not just the service itself. We highly recommend them to anyone seeking a gentle, respectful, and compassionate farewell for their loved one.
