Waking up one morning to find our beloved dog passed away was absolutely horrific and difficult to process. Never having dealt with this in the past, we found Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation. Immediately from when we called them, they were kind and handled us with love and care. They took us in that day, and every interaction with them was welcoming and friendly. We knew that our Sadie would be in good care throughout the entire aquamation process. The facility was clean. Jim and Allen went above and beyond to make it as calming and easy as possible. They reminded us that when you’ve given your pet the best life, they deserve the best care until the very end—and this service felt far more thoughtful and gentle than a traditional cremation. They called us after the aquamation was completed, and we went back in to pick up our personally inscribed urn. The entire process was what we had hoped, and we would recommend them to everyone.
This company is a rarity: efficient, reliable and staffed by really kind and communicative people, with services at fair prices. Also, they service the Westchester area, which was really convenient. Jim helped me through the process of getting my hamster picked up, handled, and then having his ashes returned back home - Jim’s gentleness and patience, especially during an emotional time, was particularly appreciated. Highly recommend them.
These folks are here for you on one of the worst days you’ll have. But they do their absolute best to help you get through it. Jim is kind and compassionate, he’ll take the time one on one to learn about your departed pet, he’ll share your memories as you talk. Their service is gentle and friendly. They arrange times so you are on your own with them, you can spend some final minutes with your pet before leaving them in caring capable hands. It was a process made as pain free as possible. Have no concerns, Compassionate Care isn’t just a name here.
Losing three of my beloved fur babies over the span of 1 month was incredibly difficult, but the people here made it a little easier. They were so kind and understanding, and I truly felt like they cared about my pets. Knowing they were being treated with such respect brought me a lot of peace.

Our beloved Buoy passed away at home and we were unprepared for the next step. We found Compassionate Care through Google and the staff was kind and understanding. Due to distance and finding someone to care for our children, we weren't able to get to the facility until late Friday night. Regardless, we received full service and we were not rushed.

Jim and everyone make a difficult time much easier to go through, my 100 plus pound, faithful Olde English Sheepdog passed comfortably at home, Jim was understanding, responsive and empathetic, as he coordinated the pickup and all the arrangements as I wanted. The price was beyond fair and a new frameless and safer for the environment processes was an unexpected benefit. Buddy was ready to come home in a short time as promised and we are comforted to have him back. I would recommend them if ever in the unfortunate situation of losing your pet, but knowing they were respectful and professional made dealing with the loss bearable. I would however doing things over the phone as I had some difficulty using the website, probably because I was reading through tears and not in the best state of mind. Thanks Jim and everybody involved, much appreciation.
The team was so caring and professional during this difficult time. Alan provided support, guidance, and follow-through in preparation for the suspected end of life of my dog. He explained the process, and his prompt communication and willingness to answer my questions was so appreciated. Rico was extremely kind and respectful when collecting my dog after he did pass.

Our beloved ferret, Shiro, passed a little over a week ago, and we were seeking an alternative to traditional cremation. By chance, we came across Compassionate Care and reached out for a quote. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, who was very kind and took the time to explain the process thoroughly. That conversation gave us the confidence to proceed, and we are so glad we did.
The entire experience was handled with great care and professionalism. The process was smooth, and the turnaround time was much quicker than we anticipated—we received Shiro back in about a week. We are truly grateful for the compassion and respect shown throughout.
