This was Bogart, our 2 yr old shy, boy cat first in home visit. Leaving Bogi for the first time gave me some anxiety but after our initial meeting with the Maggie, the sitter I felt assured my cat would be in good hands.
The whole process was easy and straightforward. Notifications, communication and visit report are timely and detailed. We have already requested another service date. And more to come! I highly recommend The Comforted Kitty
Our sitter Serenity went above and beyond with the care she provided our cat Guakee. She ensured his water fountain was clean when the filter malfunctioned, she hand-repaired/sewed one of his toys, she even removed a stubborn mat he had under his armpit that we couldn't remove ourselves (saved us a trip to the groomers). All-in-all, we were very impressed with the level and quality of care she provided and will 100% rehire her for future sittings.
We’ve being using the Comforted Kitty for many years and the service has always been reliable. We’ve been lucky to have the same sitter, Jim, for many years. He’s very professional and understands our cat very well. It also is always a relief for me to get pictures and updates every day while we’re away.
The Comforted Kitty as a company did what they advertised and they were responsible and available if/when I needed them.
Their policy of a detailed intake form where you write down detailed instructions, etc. made sense and they themselves were good communicators. I had the feeling that they "knew what they were doing" in terms of bridging the trust gap between strangers and how it feels to allow a stranger into one's home while away and even more importantly how vulnerable it feels to rely on a stranger to take care of one's beloved pet. They suggested 3 sitters and the one that we chose, Catalina, was the perfect choice for us. Catalina went the extra mile to help make our elderly cat comfortable during our absence. She was also remarkably respectful towards our home and I highly recommend her services as a pet sitter as well as the oversight (bonding and insurance) provided by the Comforted Kitty.

The comforted Kitty service was amazing! We had multiple weekends where we needed last minute cat sitting, and they were able to find us a wonderful sitter right away. The sitter, Lloyd, was fantastic with her cat and sent really detailed messages every single day along with great pictures.

I have a very shy kitty who doesn't like meeting new people. Normally, he hides as soon as someone unfamiliar comes into the house and stays hidden until he feels his "kingdom" is safe again. We usually ask a family member to look after him, but when our whole family travels together, we don't have anyone nearby to help.

She spent a lot of time not just feeding and cleaning up after him but also brushing him, which he adores, and talking to him, which I swear he understands. I won’t hesitate to seek her out again.
Was very pleased with the service. Ashley was communicative and the cats took to her quickly. She even took cute polaroids and left them on the fridge with cat magnets, gave us a cat card, and a cat shaped sponge for dedicated cat dish cleaning. I'm pretty picky about cat sitters and previously only used people I know but would absolutely use this service and have Ashley as a cat sitter again in the future.
Our experience with The Comforted Kitty was great! We just used them for the first time and Victor did a great job taking care of our two VERY shy cats. Victor was very conscientious, reliable, and communicative and sent me daily texts about their eating habits and wellbeing as well as photos. He showed up every day as scheduled without fail for the two weeks we had booked with him and was very respectful of our home. We met with Victor prior to the booking and he was very detailed oriented, taking careful notes and asking good questions which made us feel confident leaving our two very high maintenance cats in his capable hands. I like that TCK specializes in cat sitting only and they offer a wide variety of booking options from short visits to overnight stays. The intake forms are extremely thorough and lengthy which I actually appreciated so the sitter had all the feeding details and habits for our two cats. I also really like the fact that their sitters are vetted, insured by the company, and experienced at administering medication as we have an asthmatic cat. They are a little expensive but the comfort of knowing you’re getting a reliable service and a reliable sitter is well worth it.

I have a pair of kittens who just turned one year old who have never been alone for more than a few hours, and I found several recommendations for The Comforted Kitty at my go-to place for cat chat (Reddit). We have a big trip this summer and I thought I'd try out the service with a quick trip we did for a few days. We met Victor and immediately felt at ease with how our cats interacted with him, and we was diligently taking notes. Our short trip went off without any issues and we're feel safe with our babies in Victor's hands for our summer trip!

We really appreciated the updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing our cat was safe and comfortable at home.
