Awesome experience. The dental professional spoke perfect English and I was very happy with my results.
The allure of this business is that they advertise “English speaking” clinicians and as someone that was nervous about going for dental tourism and not being able to communicate, I took the bait. I want to preface by saying everyone is very nice from the taxi driver to the dentists. However, the two stars is strictly based on my dental experience.
The veneers - I got 20 top and bottom Zirconia veneers. When I smile, I can see the grey cementing substance through the teeth. It’s noticeable in pictures more than in person so I don’t feel confident with my smile knowing that’s there. Secondly, the process was SUPER STRESSFUL. I was there for 12 days total because I was getting fillings and implants as well. The first 6-7 days, we didn’t get very far. The veneer fitting happened 5 days before I was leaving for the states and the veneers were TWICE THE SIZE OF MY NATURAL TEETH. Straight horse teeth. The dentist and her assistant tried to convince me that they looked nice but I absolutely hated them. They looked terrible. They said it would be remade but then we went into a three day weekend which made me sick to my stomach in anticipation. Finally on the day before leaving for the States they placed on my veneers, implant work, crowns, everything. It was SO stressful to do this all at 8PM the night before a flight back. The veneers look better than my natural teeth but I can't say that I'm confident smiling with them.
Crowns, root canals, and fillings -
Absolutely terrible. I got a root canal on two molars. Typically, you need a crown to overlie the tooth but instead they placed a huge filling. I asked them why not a crown but they told me a filling would be enough. Sure enough, one broke within 1.5 months and the other within 8 months. An implant crown and a regular crown came off within 8 months as well. One after another. I had so much anxiety eating food. Just terrible. I am fortunate that I am now able to see a great dentist in the states who told me that the dental implants aren’t even screwed deep enough into the bone and that I shouldn’t have gotten a filling after a root canal. We are now working to undo a lot of those issues. In total 5 teeth came apart within 8 months.
I’m not saying don’t get dental work in Colombia because I know that dental work is tragically expensive in the States. I’m simply telling you I do not recommend this place.

Came here while on vacation just for a cleaning and ending buying the cleaning, whitening package. Extremely professional and very friendly staff. Will only come here now for my dental needs in Medellin. Right in El Poblado, the view is amazing when your getting dental work also.

I had Colombia Care do 20 porcelain veneers. Before I had yellow and worn out teeth. Coffee, age, etc. now I have a movie star mouth.
The process was super efficient, I was able to choose the shape and color of my new teeth. The work came out better than I’d dreamed of. 5 big stars.

What a seamless experience. I paid $25,000 for 12 porcelain crowns for my upper and lower center smile 2 years ago in San Diego. I just completed the other quadrants with 10 porcelain veneers from Colombia Dental Care for $2700. No fuss, no muss- in and out in 5 hours over 2 days. You cannot tell the difference between the La Jolla crowns and the Medellin veneers. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Dr. Laura prepared my 2 teeth for crown replacement. Then due to “family emergency”, another dentist put them on. She grounded down my teeth until there was almost nothing left. The crowns initially fit perfectly. But the other dentist barely pressed down my new crowns and they were sticking up way too far. Instead of pressing them down all the way, she ground down the crowns until there was no texture. Now I have a gap between my gums and the crowns & developed an abscess. Also I now need 2 dental implants because there is nothing left of my teeth to place any new crowns. They refunded my money after a couple of weeks, but this cost me thousands of dollars from the problems they caused.
There are many options for dental care in Medellin Columbia. DO NOT CHOOSE this one! My experience was horrible. After spending more than five weeks in Medellin, I can’t express the level of disappointment in the service I received. Sure, the people are nice. But at the end of the day, if the quality is not up to par, it’s not worth it!
The look and quality of implants were horrible. I had to go back to the United States to get a second set of temporary dentures just so that I could eat, plus the temporaries they made were hideous looking.
When I returned to Columbia for the second three weeks stay, they only covered five days. I was misdiagnosed with the type of implants needed And the initial implants failed.
Now I’m challenged with finding another provider to complete the process!
They don’t have their own surgeons, and actually share them with other Dentist throughout the country. I felt rushed, and the quality was poor.
Columbia care dental should be out of business!
Soo Happy with my experience & new look from Colombia Care. I needed to repair chipped teeth (previously fixed from a different dentist that didn’t last) Sara & the team were really great at explaining my options, timeframe, costing us and long-term results. I got veneers on my top teeth and they look fantastic! I’m So happy with my experience & would recommend Colombia Care to anybody looking for a professional caring team.

On my recent trip to Colombia, I was struck by the sea of Hollywood smiles that greeted me. It seemed like every Colombian had that picture-perfect, pearly-white smile.
With a quick Google search I found Columbia Care, and to my delight, they responded immediately, communicating fluently in English. They got me connected to the dentist within an hour, who also spoke perfect English and suggested a plan for 20 porcelain veneers.
Upon my midnight arrival in Colombia, the hospitality from the dental office was evident. They had arranged an airport pick-up. A courteous driver name Julian ensured I reached my hotel and the dental clinic in utmost comfort.
The clinic itself was a marvel, occupying the entire 12th floor of a state-of-the-art building. The interiors screamed modern elegance. Sara, the Dental Coordinator, was there to greet me. I was introduced to Dr. Laura and her phenomenal assistant Luisa - these two are a “Dental Duo”. Their synergy, expertise, and genuine care turned my usual anxiety about dental work on its head. For some reason, dental procedures usually cause me a lot of pain, so I opted for laughing gas. Sara, their anesthesiologist was exceptional, consistently ensuring I was free from pain.
An unexpected complication arose during my X-rays - an infected root canal. But with unwavering professionalism, Sara swiftly called in a specialist to address it. The following day, when a few veneers didn't quite fit, Dr. Laura's commitment to perfection shone through. She, along with Luisa, sacrificed their Saturday off to ensure my veneers were corrected by the lab and fixed by Saturday evening. This was vital, as my departure back to the US was early Monday.
From the welcoming receptionist to the diligent support staff, everyone exhibited excellence. Not to forget the ever-punctual driver who doubled up as my informal guide to Colombia, answering every curious question I had.
To sum up, if you're seeking a dental experience that marries professionalism with warmth, Columbia Care in Medellin, Colombia is the place. I highly recommended them!
