From the word go Colleen was amazing; she offered expert advice in selecting colours and presented inspiring design ideas while at same time listening to what I tend to like which she accurately described as an open space organic feel to my home. Colleen orchestrated flooring, cabinets, painting and countertops with top notch contractors who did a fabulous job. I hired Colleen to choose a new neutral and lighter paint colour that would go through a significant portion of my house. It is very difficult to choose a good grey/beige as they have different undertones. Colleen recommended an excellent colour that lightened things up and went with my existing furniture and decor. She also connected me with her painters as two flights of stairs and a very high ceiling needed to be painted. Painting these areas was just not within my ability. Colleen also helped with selecting where to hang pictures. I am already planning to hire Colleen again for a new countertop in the kitchen.

Working with Colleen was such a pleasant experience. She listened to our needs and ideas about how we wanted to re-invent our space. Colleen had great ideas for furniture placement, colour, furnishings, window treatments and really updated our style. We have never before dealt with an Interior designer. There were a variety of things that needed to be done after living in our place for twelve years. We didn't know where to begin. Enter Colleen O'Hara, on the recommendation of a neighbour. Best thing we ever did! Colleen was so thorough and organized but more than that, she had wonderful ideas that took many of our belongings and repurposed them in the redecoration. We couldn't even imagine having to vet all the people that were needed. That's where Colleen shines. She found us contracters, upholterers, painters, tilers, and Bob to hang pictures. Of all , she was the most valuable! With her animated personality and energetic attitude ,she presented choices for us daily. Either by phone or email, she'd say, "What do you think of this vanity, or these lights?", narrowing the choices to fit our taste and budget. Colleen is an absolute gem !! She is a wonderful designer and took the stress out of our renovations and home decorating. We are thrilled with the new look of our home as it looks stunning. She was very proactive and always on top of things and did it with efficiency. At the same time she was personable and helpful from start to finish. Our whole family loves her and what she did for our home. She helped us with so many things including a new kitchen, bathroom, floors, painting, furniture selection and additional decor. We also appreciated the work done by Miran Flooring, Aldo Shutters, Baressa Kitchens and JT Construction on our project who were all introduced to us by Colleen and a special thanks to Jason for the counters as well !!

I wouldn’t dream of doing a renovation without Colleen’s services. I originally thought that an interior designer basically only designed but they do so much more. The resources that years of experience brings is invaluable. She helped us find a fabulous contractor to work with, had our wall colour and carpets selected after the first design meeting, and she pointed us in the right direction for a custom built in closet company. I was impressed by the speed in which she sourced options for lighting, etc. and all at a reasonable price. She definitely saved us time and money on our bedroom project and helped to define the style. Colleen is very personable and we hit it off the very first meeting. She listened to what I was looking for and delivered on it. She is a great communicator and stays in contact throughout the project. I highly recommend her services for any renovation or refresh no matter the size.
