Cobb outpatient detox has done more for me than they know. I knew I needed help but I wasn’t sure the best way to go about doing it and with some research I came across this place and man I’m glad I took the plunge. From my first nurse Bridgette, to Kelly the case manager and to Chad the peer support specialist, they all genuinely care about your well being and want to see you get better. The whole staff is super friendly and uplifting. If you are struggling do not hesitate to reach out to these fine folks, it will change your life.

When I first decided to call Cobb Outpatient, I was hesitant because the last detox place I went to wasn’t what I needed to truly help me. From the moment I walked in, Leah was there with open arms — supportive, relatable, and full of understanding. Katrina, my first nurse, was incredibly patient and kindhearted, and Kelly quickly became like the mom I needed — making sure I was cared for, happy, and staying on track.
Chad is the glue that holds this place together — a motivator, confidant, and true inspiration. The entire staff at Cobb Outpatient is friendly, nonjudgmental, and genuinely concerned about your well-being. I lost my job when I came here and had interviews every day — everyone remembered and checked in about how they went. That kind of compassion means everything when you’re rebuilding your life.
Kelly guided me through decisions that supported my sobriety, and Bridgette, Alex, Danielle, Anna, Reagan, and everyone else I may have missed were all key to my success. I’m actually sad to be done, but excited for my new goals and the next chapter — all thanks to the AMAZING team at Cobb Outpatient.
I can’t thank you all enough for helping me rediscover my strength and purpose. I will not pick up that first drink.

This place has completely changed my life. I was well past the point of being able to control my addiction to alcohol. There is more to Cobb outpatient detox than medicine and drug screening. They will become your best friends. Kelly the case manager has been guiding me through the process, referred me to the best Psychologist I’ve ever had and will continue to see until she retires or I relocate. Then she set me up with aftercare that I will attend after discharge from this program. The nurses are all extremely caring and love to hear about your progress and new perspective on day to day goings on that are drastically different when you’re sober, especially if you’re like me and have spent the last 30 years of your life intoxicated. Chad is peer support specialist that monitors your progress and shares relatable situations to remind you that you’re not the only person suffering from your disease. There are far more people than you can imagine all around you going through some version of substance abuse, but it is absolutely possible to change your own situation. Cobb outpatient however, will increase the odds of success 100%. My experience is at the Marietta location, but there is another location inside the perimeter. I HIGHLY recommend looking into their program if you feel if you need help.

If you need to detox come here because all of the staff are kind caring and get the job done. They will take care of all of you're concerns from tears to laughter. There are not enough words to describe my experience here! The client care was above and beyond as I was extremely struggling at the beginning. Jackie the upfront desk was amazing to walk into in the mornings and I loved her light and comforting attitude. The biggest and most important person who got me basically through my entire DETOX is the peer to peer counselor CHAD SMITH! From the first day I walked and with the worst attitude feeling horrible due to withdrawals. He immediately noticed that I was not feeling well and got me expedited to a nurse for immediate help. Most of the time I dread seeing a counselor or anytime that I have to talk about my feelings, but this man COMPLETELY CHANGED my life with his knowledge and level of effort he puts into each daily appointment we have had. I’ve come in some days in a pretty bad mood And as soon as it was my time to see him, he had been leaving laughing And feeling positive. Please make sure that you take the time to work with him thoroughly while you’re there if you want a life-changing experience of sobriety. I will never forget this place or the counselor who lifted me up daily and basically saved my life. Thank you guys SO much!
Everyone is polite and nice from the start till your last day. The people that work here will do everything they can to help you, and thats from the ladies at the front desk to the owners and everyone in-between. They all work with you on scheduling, your meds, finding additional help during and after detox. Your 1st few days maybe a little off putting because you do have to open up initially and answer questions, but it is worth coming to and completing the program. There is no way I could get sober from alcohol without Cobb outpatient and all the people that work there.
