Thank you, Denis! We appreciate the 5-star review and are happy to hear you had a positive experience with Coastal Heating & Air Conditioning Co., Inc. We're always here to help with any of your heating and cooling needs!
I will never call anyone else! This was our first time using Coastal and they are not like the others! The techs were knowledgeable and worked tirelessly to solve our HVAC issue! They solved a complex problem and had us up and running! They went above and beyond for us and we are so thankful and impressed by their integrity, honesty and expertise. So impressed!
Have had a maintenance agreement with them for years. During the last visit, the technician found a leak in the humidifier supply line and simply disconnected the water instead of replacing the copper tubing. Had to fix it myself. Service manager could care less when I told him that the technician didn't fix the leak. The technician did, however, tell my wife that we should have the blower wheel cleaned for $500. An estimate arrived by email shortly after the technician left. Apparently, cleaning parts in the system is not part of routine maintenance.
Coastal Heating and Air does everything right, and they are better than any other home contracting company I've ever worked with. They are prompt, thorough, accurate, and plus they make it all seem easy! I recently replaced my HVAC, and out of 5 estimates, theirs was the best by far, and the unit is working great. They have very friendly and professional teams, and I can't recommend them enough! Make them your first and only call. You will not be disappointed!
They came out the day we called and were able to fix our AC on the spot. It was a wiring issue between our blower fan and new WiFi thermostat that didn’t turn the fan on for AC. They verified that the heat still worked with the new wiring as well as doing a complete system check to make sure we didn’t have any other issues that would cause a problem down the road.
Had a capacitor replaced this month and Coastal Charged $710.00. My second unit just needed a capacitor as well and Coastal could not make it out for 3 weeks. Thank goodness, because a different HAC company just came out and did the work next day and only charged $300.
Coastal is definitely gouging their customers.
When I asked why the price was so high, the tech said it was because of the labor involved. I had to go find him in his truck on the phone to finish the visit.
