Fantastic Safari Experience with James
We came to Tanzania to hike Kilimanjaro but decided to go on a two day Safari before the hike. I'm so glad we did because our guide James was fantastic and made the experience worth while!! He did a great job finding the animals we said we were most interested in and getting us an opportunity to get a good picture of everything. He was extremely knowledgeable and great at answering all of our questions. I would highly recommend James to anyone looking to go on a safari.

Amazing Kilimanjaro Experience with Climbkili
Our group of eight completed the 7-day Machame Route with the Climbkili team, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The entire team provided incredible support from start to finish. Outstanding Guides: Herment and his team were phenomenal—experienced, patient, and always focused on our safety and success. Our group ranged from early 30s to early 70s, and the guides did a wonderful job adapting to everyone’s pace and needs, while keeping us encouraged along the way. Fantastic Support Team: The chefs, porters, and staff were amazing—always positive and attentive. Thoughtful details like dedicated toilet tents, camps fully set up before we arrived each day, and summit night from Kosovo Camp significantly improved our trek experience. Excellent Organization: Everything—from booking and packing guidance to arrival logistics—was extremely well organized. Climbkili also helped arrange a wonderful 3-day safari and day trips around Arusha. Special thanks to Tiffany for her consistently helpful coordination. Our guides made sure everyone felt comfortable with the pace and provided lots of information about the environment as we ascended. Climb Kili was an amazing group to work with. It was easy from planning to the actual hike. Our guides, Seraphine and Frank, as well as the porters were top notch. Climb Kili treats there staff well and that became obvious in our hike. I would definitely recommend them!
This climb and visit to Africa was life changing. It’s hard to put into words what kind of experience this was. Getting to know our porters and guides was the highlight of the trip. The summit of Kilimanjaro was great but seemed like a cherry on top of the whole experience. Climbkili is a top rated outfit with excellent guides such as Herment. I’ve hiked a few mountains with guides and Herment and his team were by far the best. They have this climb and the process all dialed so almost everyone makes the summit. I would recommend Climbkili all day long and tell everyone I talk with they should go climb Kilimanjaro and do it with Climbkili. I’m not getting paid or anything for this review but wanted everyone to know of my experience. Climbkili had all the details worked out such as timeline, packing list, any possible issues. The trek was planned perfectly to allow for acclimation to the elevation ensuring that all 5 of us made the summit. I could not possibly give a higher endorsement for this team!
Trip of a Lifetime
Amani and his crew did a fantastic job for us. Our weather was not cooperative, with daily (and nightly) precipitation and no sunshine at all for the entire week, but our guides and porters worked their tails off to make sure we were well fed with hot delicious meals, and our tents and sleeping bags stayed dry. I would highly recommend ClimbKili and especially Amani and his crew for this bucket-list adventure!!

Life Changing
Total experience of a lifetime. 7 days of climbing, being cold, and tired and LOVING every second of it! Thanks to the staff - especially Herment the leader of our group. His ability to keep safety, organization, and positivity all together was wonderful. His 19 years of experience and 200 climbs was obvious. He not only knew the mountain intricitely he also attended to the details of our hike. I also noticed how careful and supportive he was of the porters and other staff. This was especially impressive to me as I could see in other groups things that were concerning. Knowing that our group of 19 porters/staff was also being looked out for, spoke well of Herment and ClimbKili! I always felt safe and supported and encouraged in positive ways. Thank you to all who made it such a memorable experience. The cost was in line with other companies... not the cheapest, certainly not the most expensive, but I feel like I got what I paid for, and it was WAY worth every penny. - I feel I have been blessed physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually - There were a few other people that stood out: Florian: He saved me from a face plant - I have never seen such quick reflexes in my life! Nickas: I hired an extra porter because I did not want to carry my day pack (best decision ever!) - but, he did more than carry my pack - for example, I was trying to take a picture in the rain and without prompting, the next thing I knew there was no rain over me - he had pulled out an umbrella so I could take the picture! This is just one example of the detail that the ClimbKili team does to help make a positive experience. They had a runner that would bring up fresh food, camp was always set-up BEFORE we arrived and food waiting. Justin was our chef and he did a great job - they even arranged for a cake on my birthday! Totally awesome! To keep it real it is the hardest hike I have personally ever done. - I relate it to having a baby. It was hard, painful and left me wondering what on Earth I was thinking, but the payoff was SO AWESOME, I have already forgotten how hard it was and I am already wanting to go and climb again, but ONLY with ClimbKili and the wonderful team lead by Herment! Life changing experience!!!

He was such a trooper that he even wore the matching shirt we brought for him—even though it was about three sizes too big!

A once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Our family of five (all adults) completed the 8-day Lemosho Route in late February 2026 with Climb Kili, and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The 19-strong Climb Kili team were truly amazing, expertly led by head guide Emmanuel, who has summited over 100 times. His experience and expertise was clear throughout the whole trip. On summit night, our group led the way up the mountain for a long stretch, and he confidently set the route through fresh snowfall for not just us, but all the other groups on the mountain! Being able to stay at Kosovo Base Camp with Climb Kili was a huge advantage. We had constant snow on summit night, which would have made the first section of the ascent from Barafu more difficult if our base camp had been lower down. Assistant guides Gabi and Erick were also a constant source of positive energy, encouragement, and support. They were especially lifesaving for those of us dealing with mild AMS during the trek. We were monitored every evening and paced carefully to give us the best possible chance of success. The rest of the team were also incredible. The food was delicious and kept us well fuelled, and everyone was so kind, supportive, and hardworking. A huge thank you to Emmanuel, Gabi, Erick, Colman, Joachim, Port, Pascal, Popo, Victor, Bilal, Laurence, Sadik, Priscus, Charles, Innocent, Joshua, Joseph, Derick, and Haji! We would highly recommend Climb Kili. Their care, professionalism, and expertise made the entire experience both safe and enjoyable- and we all made it to the top!

My husband and I climbed with Climb Kili. I can honestly say there is no way I would have been able to summit with any other outfitter. Our guide, Manny, was absolutely amazing! The knowledge he had was far superior than anyone we researched before picking Climb Kili. He was able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each climber in our group and adapt the climb daily to ensure all had success summitting. The assistant guides were amazing as well. Climb Kili's ability to camp at Kosovo made all the difference in having a successful summit, which all 6 of us did.
The food prepared was exactly what was needed by the group to face each day. The amount of food was in abundance. We had brought snacks, but brought way too much. We were able to share with the guides and porters. They even prepared a cake on the mountain to celebrate our success.
The support group I cannot say enough about. Camp was always ready for when we were done climbing for the day. Water provided for drinking and hot water provided for cleaning up the end of each day. Tents set up with our bags inside. Food ready. Tea/coffee brought to our tent every morning. The toilet was kept absolutely clean.
The Climb Kili group made us feel like a family and were so welcoming. I have never felt such at home while traveling before.
If you are considering climbing Kilimanjaro you do not want to consider another outfitter other than Climb Kili.

Challenging and Fun
We had an amazing time summiting Kilimanjaro. The 4 of us in my tourist group were all casual but experienced hikers - our guides were fantastic in adjusting the pace to challenge our abilities without exhausting us. The food was fantastic - delicious and fresh local foods, prepared at altitude by a professional chef and with such quantity that we were never left hungry.
