Recently our son moved into the Cleveland House. Within a couple of days, Alan recognized that our loved one needed a higher level of care and he called us, his overwhelmed parents.
Through his contact with a psychiatrist that he had worked with, Alan helped us to arrange an urgently needed residential mental health program admission. Our son was argumentative and uncooperative, but Alan was able to diffuse the situation. He preceded to talk Tyler into willingly going into his first MH treatment center, and then Alan took our son, bicycle, guitar and all of his belongings in his truck to the new center to be admitted.
We will forever be grateful for Alan as he is the first individual to finally get our son into the type of MH program that he needed, after years of refusing psychiatric treatment.
Alan is an amazing human being who is passionate about his work in helping others, and he truly cares about the well-being of his clients who are on their journeys to recovery.
