Amy Robbins did a wonderful job recommending assisted living facilities to my mother and accompanied us on several tours. We ended up picking one of them, and both my mother and stepfather are really enjoying their new home with the good care they really needed. I'm an estate planning attorney, and I've worked with Mary Grosserode at Clare Senior Advisors for many years, and she never ceases to amaze me. Recently, I had a client in crisis (needing to find a more affordable facility) and referred the clients to Mary. She met with them right away, found a great facility in their budget, coordinated with the care team to make sure his needs would be met, and he was relocated in about a week after the introductory call. I cannot say enough about Lisa Summers-Benak. She is kind, compassionate and genuine She has been by my side through a long journey to help get my parents settled at their independent living home. She always had the answer to my questions and gave me additional information that we had not thought about. Lisa was with us during our visit with Hillcrest to make sure we had all our questions answered, even the ones we forgot about. She took the time to visit with my parents, understand their feelings about the move and made my mom feel like she had a new best friend. You can see that Lisa truly cares. What a wonderful feeling it was to have a friend like Lisa to help me through this life event.

It was time to put my mom in assisted living and we had no idea where to start. Luckily, someone recommended Emilee and she helped us navigate through the maze of selecting an assisted living facility that would work for mom. Emilee set appointments, provided background information, and answered our many questions. She far exceeded our expectations and my mom is doing great in her new home.

We were in a situation where we needed to find a place for our father last fall. I have known Emilee for a long time and she was the first person we contacted to help us. She was able to find a place for Dad that was close to where I live and also close to enough that he could still visit mom who is in hospice care. Unfortunately, Dad's health declined faster than anticipated. We called Emilee again. Within a couple of days, she found a facility with a memory care unit that could take Dad. None of this would have happened as smoothly as it did without Emilee's help. She is a very compassionate person and truly cares for everyone involved. This was something I've always known and I want everyone else to know it too. Dad is adjusting to his new home and is doing well. We have Emilee to thank for this.

After my mom had a fall, I knew my parents needed more help than their independent living community could provide. I met Amy when our kids played at the same soccer club and she was the first contact I made for help in finding them a new home. Amy, with Clare Senior Advisors, was amazing! She listened to what we were looking for, offered sound advice, set up and went on several tours with me. She knew the questions to ask and what to look for in each community. Knowing Amy was helping navigate the process was such a relief to me! At the end of the process we found a place where my parents are comfortable and have more assistance. Amy still checks in on them when she has business where they live. I highly recommend not going it alone when it is time to change the living arrangements for aging parents, work with an expert.
