I am not normally a negative reviewer but the experience I had needs to be posted. While the facility is clean and well decorated, the staff and management were less than desirable. I attempted to visit a neighbor and was told to wait at a single kiosk. The sign in process is difficult for people who don’t know how to use a kiosk, basically anyone over the age of 65. When I remarked that I would report that in my review, I had an individual harass me and eventually call the family (really unfortunate) and then follow me to my car while videoing me to post in response to this review. I emailed the Clarendale team and haven’t heard back. Really disappointed in the customer service.
Clarendale West End is an excellent Senior living facility with all of the amenities you could want. If you are looking for the trusted Clarendale experience with a big city feel, try them out. The staff are professionals that have a passion for what they do, serving their residents. This facility is well kept, showcasing the pride they have in every aspect of the resident experience.

Clean and tidy
Clarendale West End is a new facility in excellent condition. It is clean, polished, smells clean and fresh.
I have the pleasure of working with the Facility Support Team on a monthly basis as their select, Water Treatment/Management professional.
Certainly a welcome change from other properties.

What a wonderful experience myself and family have had here, lets start with the decor of the building, which is truly phenomenal and so clean and truly vibrant. Upon entering this building you can feel the love and artmannship that the staff and residents take pride in every day. This community is all about nurturing and good quality care and it shows. The residents seem happy well cared for and just peaceful every time I return here. The staff "ALWAYS" show how much dedication that they surround these residents with, from arts and crafts, cooking projects, gardening, fun activities and well thought out fieldtrips for our elders. I love it and I recommend this community to anyone who wants attention, love, respect and extrordinary care for their mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers, husbands, wives and etc....

Clarendale West End is truly such a special place and you really do feel it from the minute you walk in. Miss Jo Ann who runs the welcome desk is so genuinely lovely and you can tell how much she cares about each person that comes through the door. She remembers names and details each time we visit and has such a warmth to her that is contagious. We’ve brought my young son each time we visit and all the staff love on him, remember him and make him feel so at home. Clarendale feels like an actual high end hotel vs a retirement community and the residents are so friendly you can tell they love it here as they all rave about the food, activities and environment. This place is particularly special and you can tell the staff really care beyond it being a job or paycheck, they care for the residents and love them well. Well done ya’ll—you have a special place here and we are so grateful for how you make this place a real home!

I attended the West End Scholars marketing event at Clarendale and had a wonderful experience.
The community is beautiful, the event was very well organized, and the entire staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional from the moment I arrived.
The front desk made a great first impression by greeting everyone with a smile and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Their hospitality and attention to detail made the event enjoyable, and it was clear they genuinely care about both their residents and guests.
Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I truly enjoyed attending the event at Clarendale West End.

Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do! You can tell the staff truly cares about the residents.
What stood out most was how happy and engaged the residents were. The whole community has a warm, positive vibe, and it’s obvious there’s a great culture there. The place was spectacularly clean and felt like a classy boutique hotel for seniors. Whoever is leading this place is doing an excellent job building a team that makes people feel cared for and at home.
Definitely a beautiful community with amazing people!

Truly the embodiment of southern hospitality! Not only is the building beautiful, but the staff takes pride in building a strong community with residents. We recently took a tour, and were blown away. This is a level of community that is incredibly rare these days.

We were able to partner with Clarendale West End for a Senior Men’s Golf Clinic at McCabe Golf Course and had a blast! The residents were so engaged and the staff were so friendly. We look forward to doing more clinics and partnering with CWE in the future!

I like how Friendly the Staff are from the Valet, The Maintenance staff, Kitchen staff are all super friendly and most of us who have Parents in the Building are very Grateful for that level of Service. And now to the Receptionist who work the Front Desk. They are all Very friendly and Considerate People. I’ll would like to add that Joanne who works during the Weekdays is my Favorite. Thoughtful and Considerate and just a Great Person. She makes the place feel like Home.
