I took my Mother (DB) to Clarendale for a tour. We met with Kim, who did an amazing job of explaining all aspects of Clarendale. A move like this can be troubling to older people who have been so independent all of their lives. Kim was so kind and patient as she explained things to my Mom, in terms that she could easily understand, and guided us through that beautiful facility. Kim said, "it's like living on a cruise ship". We met other staff and residents who were all so friendly and welcoming. Claredale is like a town of its own. There are so many services, activities, and social events that foster a true sense of community. We looked at several other facilities, and Clarendale is by far the one that my Mom favors the most. Kim was so instrumental in helping her make her decision. Thank you Kim!

Front desk closed before 5pm,food delivery to sick residents is not reliable.calls to desk rolls over to a record.this is not 5 star service,

Clarendale is such a beautiful and amazing place. The staff are genuinely friendly and really nice. It's such an immaculate condition, and incredibly beautiful. All the staff that I saw this afternoon was genuinely helpful and had the most respect for everyone. This is one of the most amazing and amazing place to be at.

Our go-to place when visiting my aunt who lives nearby. Always friendly and reasonable rates. Spacious rooms and the breakfast is always plentiful. Give yourself a treat and stay here next time.

The lunch was delicious and I really liked having a choice of portion size. The workers in the dining hall were polite and helpful in every way!

I am disappointed in the cleanliness of the facility in the memory care unit. The carpet in the sitting room adjacent to the dining room looks filthy at the entrance. I did not go in to see the rest. My friend’s room is cluttered with stuff and doesn’t seem to be clean. When I entered her room she was asleep on her bed, not covered, and had a diaper on that was not secured. Just laying under her and on top. I think she should have been covered with a sheet or a blanket. I wouldn’t want to be left like that. And she’s one of the nicest people I know. Of course now, she sleeps most of the time. She’s been there almost two years I think.
Please respect her and other patients by covering them with care, anyone could walk in. And keep her room clean. I haven’t felt it was clean in a while. That could keep some people from visiting. We don’t know what she is aware of because of Alzheimer’s. She should be treated as if she’s aware of everything. Like you would want your mother to be cared for.

We celebrated my mother’s 93 birthday and had a family dinner in the private dining room at Clarendale. The food by Chef Mike was really good and service by Maddie was so thoughtful. Each time we visit it is wonderful to see how kind everyone is!
