Hi Darleen, I think there is a bit of a misunderstanding. The budget price we gave you would have been for a 13 SEER A/C unit as this is what we normally install. Here is a snippet of the email below that was sent to you on October 3rd Good morning Darleen, After a review of the photos you sent us, we can give you a rough estimate of $3,400 - $3,800 for the installation of a 13 seer 2 ton AC which includes a 10-year parts warranty and a 10-year labour warranty. For a more precise estimate, I will need to get someone on site. After we went to the site visit, we saw that your existing A/C is a 16 SEER unit and so we ended up quoting you for a 16 SEER option which is a higher efficiency and it seems that is where the price difference is coming from We would never try to take advantage of anyone. Just thought I would clear things up Thank you for the opportunity and hopefully we can work together in the future
