Shortly after moving into our new house we realized that the roof was in awful condition. Several spots had bad decking that needed to be replaced, but we also had really awful ventilation in the attic which made it extremely hot up there. While talking to various other companies almost all of them told me I was wrong about the ventilation, that they didn't want to replace all the decking, and whatever else - they never actually cared about what I wanted. CJE is the only ones who took what I wanted and made it happen. They added intake vents to the front and back of the house, they replaced all of the decking, and the roof now looks amazing. The day after the roof was completed they installed new gutters and our house has never looked better. From the initial consults to the installation, we have been happy with the service we have received. The house probably hasn't looked this good in 50 years. Update 01/16/2026 We had an issue with the gutters that CJE installed not being sloped enough to allow water to drain out. We contacted CJE with the issue and they had it resolved within a month (due to weather) with no qualms about it. They were able to accommodate our schedule and install the roof vent without issue. They charged a reasonable rate to do the install and we are happy with their work.

I had my house completely re-sided last fall- Fantastic experience and my house looks brand new! Cut to present day- had a mowing mishap and threw a rock into my NEW siding and got a hole- I emailed the team asking if i could pay for it to be replaced- not only did they reply IMMEDIATELY- they came out the VERY next Day and replaced it! I can't say enough great things about CJE. We were on a four-week time crunch with our insurance company and CJE got the job done before our deadline. The job was done perfectly and we could not be happier with the work! Sean W and Sean K were so helpful through every step of the process and really turned our headache of a project into a wonderful reality. Their crews were respectful, quick, experienced, and cleaned up very well afterward (which is important for my children and pets). I can't recommend them enough for the work they did and will absolutely be calling them if we ever need work done in the future!

Christina Fronner, project manager, was very helpful in developing scope for project and provided excellent recommendations on trim board materials. I found Christina to be very knowledgable and helpful throughout entire process. Sean Kirpatrick, project site manager, kept me informed of work progress and resolved all issues/concerns that I had. Can't say enough positive comments about CJE Restoration and their employees. We experienced a hail storm that damaged the roof, gutters, downspouts, fascia, skylights and siding on our home. Josh and his team repaired all components with amazing high quality, they were GREAT to work with. As an update, we needed a small part of the fascia repaired due to high winds in our area, no fault of CJE. But they quickly came back and handled business. Sean at CJE was great to work with, professional and promptly communicates with you when they will be on site.

I own an old home in German Village and it can be hard to find someone familiar with the commission approval process and the intricacies of renovating historic homes. CJE made the entire process as painless as possible for me and they were worth every penny.
